im gonna yap a lot in this comment because theres a lot of stuff i wanna mention for this video. first of all, this version definitely isnt completely "forgotten" but that sounds way better than "Exploring a Not Actively Remembered Minecraft Version" and fits as a title to the spiritual successor to the last "Exploring" video. second of all, i said "over 4 years ago" in the video even though the 4-year anniversary of the update is 2 days from the release of this video because i honestly didnt think i was gonna finish the video before then. oops. this video is another one of those ones where i made it more "personal", to an extent im not usually comfortable with. so i apologize if this one is a little sappier than usual. i also let myself be myself a bit more in the first halfs script, which could possibly have been a detriment because i am not a naturally entertaining person. finally, thank you for watching. i know i dont upload a lot but im still honored to have support on every video i release. next few videos, including an incredibly large project ive been working on since december, will probably take a bit to come out. and they might not be my "typical" style but i hope youll still enjoy them. anyways thanks for watching. remember to like and subscribe and consider becoming a channel member if you really want to support the channel (only if you want). thank you, garfilled

I got some theories for this one. Now, from what we can see from the auditorium scene, which I'll place first "canonically", we can see him beginning to read the video script - but after the intro, the pages are empty. The pumpkin men watch in anticipation and get nothing - which is why they leave. From there, I think the guilt of disappointing his spectators, sending him into a spiral of sorts (portrayed by the mossy cobblestone spiral and his fading speech about winding spirals where they go around the same bends). Now, I also think this ties into a lot of Garfilled's talk of infinity and madness, whether it be via his backrooms, or that weird old childhood minecraft house, we keep seeing these scenes that revolve around him looping, kind of like a portrayal of his madness. It's almost like some kind of creeping background at a certain point as you start to notice it as a pattern. From all of this, I think we are the pumpkin men. He, whether it be him in reality, or just the character, thinks that, if he does not please us, if it is too vacant, not entertaining enough, we will leave. And he will spiral and rot - he will jump - taking the twisting turns of whatever new hell awaits him, no matter if it's a cobblestone spiral, damp carpet and mono-yellow wallpaper, he'll end up there because he could not please us, whether it be for just guilt, or also because of a psychological dependency. Or maybe it's just me idk

That's a really good theory but there is still some holes like why is the pumpkin man AKA the viewer is secretly following Garfield here 3:08 1:29 4:20 and why does Garfield act surprised at the pumpkin man also why couldn't Garfield go to a dimension name after him and also what does him destroying the pumpkin head mean 10:12 and how does his other video connect with this one?

Okay so 0:40 is the first appearance of pumpkin guy 1:28 is second appearance of pumpkin guy 3:07 is third appearance of pumpkin guy (hes in the background of the shot) 4:16 is fourth appearance of pumpkin guy 5:06 text says "i had a dream i was you once. it made me sick." 8:03 text says "who even are you?" with the pumpkin guy face from 6:58 9:45 final appearance of pumpkin guy 10:07 garfilled kills pumpkin guy I'm going to put my personal interpretation of this video down here. I'm just going to preface this with this with the fact that I am likely wrong or that this video could have no significant meaning. Anyways to me, this feels like someone's experience with mental illness, specifically anxiety. My main reason for this is the scene with the crowd of pumpkins where garfilled is reading out the script of the video. The music and shooting of that scene very much creates feelings of anxiety. I can also personally relate to the panic that is portrayed in the scene. The book being empty and the panicked turning of the pages is incredibly reminiscent of the way that anxiety feels, with your mind going blank and the silent panicking of just trying to think of something to say while everyone (in this case the pumpkins) judge you. There is also the omnipresence of the pumpkins, and them showing up where you least expect them. You can be having an amazing day, but there might be just some unexplained anxiety in the back of your head. Then there is the ominous looking hole. To me I think that represents recognizing that there is a problem and asking for help. That is oftentimes the scariest part of any disorder, including anxiety. But then, when you take that leap, you are able to access something that you hadn't before (in this case the garfilled dimension which would represent stability) and are able to overcome your struggles (symbolized by killing the pumpkin guy). Again, this could be entirely wrong and I could be reading into it too much, but hey, this is what I like to do. Sorry if this is rambly, I was just kinda putting my thoughts out there. If you got to this point, thanks for reading my thoughts! I hope that you found this interesting!
