I'm always interested in seeing abandoned places, especially car washes. Maybe because I worked at a car wash for two and a half years. I was visiting NC last year and saw three abandoned car washes all within about 25 minutes of each other and it turned into me being fascinated by abandoned car washes. This was definitely a bit different car wash, very small and very interesting for sure.

@@JedFinds Not very good, lol. The job itself was simple; prepare the cars for the tunnel wash and do quick details (vacuum, wipe down dash and doorjambs, clean windows, shine tires). I had a lot of fun though, met some cool people. I was a supervisor and had to deal with a lot of angry customers and other stressful situations like things breaking. And parts breaking happened at least once per day. Sometimes they were very crucial components too.

I had a similar situation at my local marathon gas station back when it used to be a 76 a red one by the way it had a vintage tunnel car wash there was the basic for 5 then express for 6 deluxe for 8 ultimate for 10 and you could add rain x on for 2 dollars before the wash began the attendants would pre-wash your car then send it trough the wash began with the pre-soak and then the front to back mitter then the wraps or big brushes whatever you call em then another mitter this time with rocker panel brushes then it was the rain x then the spot free rinse then the dryers i think the dryers were IDC dryers
