🇫🇷 Exploring Beautiful France: Castles, Churches, Cannons and More! 🇫🇷

Having made it to France, I head South, car camping each night, towards Oradur Sur Glane, travelling through Rouen, Merville Battery, Mont Saint-Michel, and others.
I stopped at almost every castle, abbey, or Cathedral that I came by, including the Chateau Robert de Diable, (Robert the Devil).
I got tired of looking for a shower, so decided to make my own instead! It's not quite the glorious vanlife videos you can find here on KZbin, but the little Honda is treating me well so far!

Nah, it's my own fault. Even assuming that people actually did chip in, which I think is unlikely, I wouldn't recommend it. There are people out there who are in much greater need of that money than me. Plus, I brought this entirely on myself. It is a very small space to live in (smaller than a well built shell scrape) and it's easy to lose your phone or accidentally drop it onto your laptop 😭. I feel pretty silly. I'm glad you were enjoying them though that really means a lot.

Thanks mate you're a legend. I think the algorithm picks up on positive comments so every little helps. I don't think I'll ever make the big leagues of KZbin but I'd love for the right people, who enjoy the same things I do, to see it (AKA questionable personal admin and old things).

To be honest your admin for cooking and washing is identical to when I was on ex, egg rolls and showing from a bowl, although I used bits on white rag as a flannel

That sound is the starter motor mate, my old car used to do it, it never gave up just replaced it because it was annoying me - it's not a hard job to do if I was you I'd purchase a replacement and keep it tucked away in case you need it

Are you REME? I figured it was probably the starter - question, will it damage anything else if I leave it like this for, say, another 8,000 miles? Not that I would but... you know!

@@BritishLandeur potential to damage the flywheel but more then likely it would just chew up the gear on the starter, I know it's not ideal as your sleeping in it but if you park on a incline and the starter fails you can bump start the car providing its not a automatic

And I was REME and in my experience it never actually failed so think your golden id just say buy a starter as any mechanic could put it on even if there's a language barrier

Hmm, I'm going to try and see if I can get it sorted. Loads on eBay but none for my engine on Amazon which is a shame because I could get it sent to an Amazon Locker. I'll figure it out hopefully.

Good video. You mentioned going to Greece. That is a bit of a drive. But i guesa that ia the point of the trip right? What are the things you want to see and what are the beats you want to hit? Please continue showing the sites that interest you.

Hey Paul, thanks for your comment! Yeah ideally I can go swing through Italy as South as Rome, then North through San Marino, East through Slovenia and South to Athens. The way I've tackled the trip is to have a few things I know I want to see, and then when I stop I'll see what's around. I'm sure I miss loads of cool stuff but that just means I can come back. For example, I'd like to go to Turin, Florence, and Rome. As for Greece, I want to see the many ancient sites in Athens such as the Parthenon, but I know as I get close and do more research I'll find plenty more! I'm always open to suggestions too!
