How did you get access to the Club lounge if you purchased the room through hotel.com? I thought you have to book directly with the hotel in order to receive the benefits.

I asked politely to add my M# to the reservation when checking in. It's a huge YMMV though since they don't technically need to do it. I feel like being friendly helps in these situations. They added club access, moved us to a better room, and gave us late checkout as a result.

Most startups in the Bay Area give you unlimited vacation. This typically means 1 to 2 months off per year (you usually want your laptop in case there's a fire you need to put out though).
