Oooooh, I'm getting a late start this morning. Its 7:30 am and look at all the comments! Recliner Babe here with my handsome prince of 87. We are embarking on what may be our last great adventure. Moving across town to a single story condo. We are saddened by leaving this beautiful house that we built overlooking the sound and watching the Washington ferries come and go. Age and health rules, however! So it was fitting you kids shared a hiking adventure with us this morning......took our minds away from packing boxes and packing memories........and yes, I started with a deep yoga breath and thought of you two. Glad to see the plexiglass between customer and staff, but surprised masks aren't required by patrons when entering public spaces! Very different in my part of the country where masks are, gratefully, mandated. Stay safe you two!

we usually do wear our masks indoors, but the store was empty and we didn't expect the visitor center to be open - we weren't prepared - we were prepared to grab a map from the box and go, but when we saw it was open and masks were not required - we decided to have a walk around - we understand the severity - thank you for your kind wishes - please stay safe as well ❤️

Good seeing you both. Utah is a beautiful State. We drove there from So Calif, and using a map looked for body’s of water and that’s where we headed. We made it all the way up North and spent some time at Fish Lake. The whole area was gorgeous! That’s where I fell in-love with the Aspen tree. Your hike was beautiful and you certainly covered a lot of ground in one day! Stay well! Be safe. Stay joyful!

I love this National Park! I've been to ,many but it's so cool to literally have it all to yourselves.Can't wait to visit this park but our car is 22 year old & not up for a road trip so I would Lease or rent a car.I worked In Leasing, & Rentals Before I left the U.S. & it's a good idea.Actually, leasing for a month or more is less costly than weekly rentals for anyone that is pondering a Road Trip.Have a Great time & I'm enjoying your travels so much! Great video of my favorite park. If the van can manage it, you'd love the loop up through Cathedral Valley. The road is a bit rough at points, but the views are overwhelming. Also, next time try the cherry or mixed berry pies - out of this world!
