I did in fact watch to the end. I commented in case you decide to reconsider, and/or to remind your viewership of the seriousness of such a decision from a Canadian perspective. Thank you for deciding to delay your travels until a more appropriate time. You will be welcomed with open arms when the time is right. Stay safe.

Yes I did watch and I thank you for your decision very much. I didn’t mean to come of harsh. I doubt this winter I will be able to head south to escape the Canadian cold, my fave state is Utah which I had hoped to be travelling around in Sep and Oct...and I had also hoped to be up in Alaska, Yukon, NW Territories, and Nunavit this summer, but God willing I will have that opportunity next year...and who knows..you may see me from the sidelines at the Ironman next year cheering Drew to a successful finish🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏

As another BC resident, I echo what so many others have said: thank you for being so respectful of our desire to avoid the kind of outbreak the US is having to cope with. It has been a big sacrifice for Canadians to give up freely traveling around our country. My partner and I bought a little RV late last fall specifically to explore the Gulf Islands this summer, and we're very sad to barely be using it at all. We hope to have a few short camping trips within a short range of our home city, and that's about it. Disappointing, but these beautiful spaces will still be there when it is safe for us to travel freely again. As our officer of health here in BC says frequently, "Be calm, be safe, be kind."

As you have seen in other comments we have had quite a few Americans coming through, thank you for those who go straight through to Alaska but there has been many not following the rules. We have far too many Americans saying that they’ll just be going through to Alaska, and then they end up on my beautiful home of Vancouver Island. That is definitely not the way to Alaska. We are working so hard to keep Covid under control, but the same standards are not kept throughout the US. That doesn’t help us to stop the spread. At about 8 minutes you are using laundry detergent. This is the perfect time to tell you all about Dropps !!! 1. All plant based 2. Cleans your clothes great! Super clean and soft! Many choices for those who want 'no scent' or lemon or lavender or (hydrogen peroxide? for heavy duty dirty). Use two pods (fit in the palm of your hand) if super dirty laundry. 3. Comes in the mail in a very small cardboard box, very light weight. 4. Do 'hide it' the box of laundry pods in a secure drawer to make sure they stay clean and dry. But also because you don't want pets, children, or teens trying to get 'popular' on social media by following a challenge or dare to swallow a laundry pod. Dropps are almost clear with no dyes or chemicals. No plastic container with extra water to lug around. July 2020

We too had the goal of Alaska this year and headed optimistically across country beginning of June, via the southwest and then north. When we saw the border close extended until July 21, we made the decision to hit as many national parks as possible on our return trek to Florida. No regrets. We'll just try again next year. [Really can't blame Canada for keeping the door close, especially with our recent spikes.] Our annual Canadian National Parks pass (purchased during a trip to Newfoundland last fall) has even been extended for 4 months....but not likely to be helpful for us into the fall/winter season. 😢

The virus is on a big uptick everywhere, so I believe really smart to anticipate you need to stay in lower 48, be closer to family and friends, be able to drive south for winter, avoiding costs to ship van or winter in Alaska. Alaska virus on upswing as well. There is plenty to see in Yellowstone and Glacier. Plus check out Clearwater area in Idaho. Perfect to explore. And the ability to isolate and keep yourselves safe during COVID-19. Plus I get to see country accessible to me on your channel, 😃

When the "yes" is not a 100% and has lots of hesitation involved in trying to find that "yes", it's actually a big of fat "NO" in disguise !! Not at all being negative here. Just no if I accept what is in front of me, then, it opens up something else, and then I always get back into that feeling of flow, when I surrender to the answer I don't really want to have to face. It really is a blessing in disguise as well.
