Happy birthday Tara! The big 5-0! What a great place to explore. I’ve been there twice but only to scuba so never got to explore out of town. Thanks. Our granddaughter went to an adventure camp there years ago and there were buffalo walking through the campgrounds.

The five decade club ain't nuttin! Wait until you get to the 7 decade club. And they said we'd never make it. It blows my mind how close those mooring balls are in the harbor. I hope they have both bow and stern lines because if they don't and a wind comes along they're going to have a lot of beat up boats. Keep the good stuff coming guys and happy birthday Tara.🎂

Happy belated birthday! We went to Catalina quite a bit when I was a child and stayed in Las Casitas. These were the little houses built for the Chicago Cubs. One of my childhood friends on these trips is now the director of tourism for Catalina. I’m sending her your video.

Happy Birthday Tara! I was looking through photos of when my wife were in Temecula CA. We visited Lake Elsinore and went up to this place called Lookout Roadhouse. I don't have any idea where you two are at currently, but if you still in the Lake Elsinore area, might be a nice ride up there. The views are amazing!

Recently found your channel and have been doing a bit of binge watching. Great videos and I absolutely love the music that you use. I don't know anyone else that uses this kind of music in their videos. We've had the gamut of rigs over the years, bumper pull, 5th wheel, Class A and now a Class C (she wanted something easier to drive). We're home based in the Texas Hill Country. With any luck, maybe our paths will cross at some point along the way.

Happy Birthday!! FYI, the outside snaps on the curtains are so you can secure the ends of the straps when the curtains are down. It keeps the ends from swinging back and forth and scratching the curtains. Mystery solved!!

Can't remember my 50th. But I do remember my 70th. Wasn't much. Always wanted to get there by my own boat. Not likely, that is going to happen? 🤒. Didn't know Marilyn Monroe had been there! Sure enough, I'm not seeing too many full-sized vehicles there. That island is so fine. Nice to finally see it. Not enough grass for the bison? Wow! Next stop for you.... 60th. 😁

Channel Islands is said to be the birthplace of the Chumash Indian tribe. as the population crew they needed to go to the mainland. The great spirit provided a “ Rainbow bridge“. If someone fell off the bridge they would be turned into a dolphin.

Makes me wonder what kind of flora and fauna was native to the island before it was developed. Were the goats, pigs, and boar native species at one time, or were they imported and "escaped" into the wild? Island native species are always interesting to me as an amateur biologist, as they evolve to fit their very secluded and isolated environment. Same with the native plant species. I thought I saw a lot of eucalyptus trees along your jeep trip, and they are not native at all, as they are only originally native to basically Australia and a few other SE Pacific areas. I can't help but think that it's kinda a shame that the island has been kinda "polluted" with non-native species due to human development, despite what seem to be rather strict restrictions on same. To the best of my knowledge, The Channel Islands, off the coast of Santa Barbara 100 miles north of Catalina, are almost entirely a nature preserve, nearly untouched by humans. I had the opportunity to visit one of The Channel Islands when I was 17, don't remember which one, and can say it was quite the experience to wander for a day over land that had no paths, no human habitations, was just hills and sea and sky. I remember it was so immensely quiet...
