Growing up in south Florida in the 1970s, me and my friends idolized a man named Bill Haast. I believe he was bitten by venomous snakes close to 200 times and lived to be 100 years old.
@The_Crucible7145 ай бұрын
Haast was a world renown herpetologist. During a visit to Florida as kids we saw him at the Sepentarium milking venomous snakes. He was also bitten by a cobra on a late-night talk show (video here on YT.)

Some super cool species there. That little Smooth machete savane was so cute with the big eyes. I’m a sucker for baby snakes. I didn’t even know that species existed until I seen them in this video. Thanks for taking us along with you Dav.👊

Dav, if you're reading this, I would buy a t-shirt with a still shot imprinted on it of you sitting there with a frog on your middle finger. That's straight up rock and roll. I understand if that's not an image you want to use to promote Reptile Adventures. I just wanted to throw that idea out there into the Universe.

How's it going hope all is well what a great video always a treat to see them. Have a question with a bit of a doubt maybe you can shine some light on the topic. To me that phyllomedusa vaillantii looks more like phyllomedusa tomopterna. Phyllomedusa vaillantii doesn't have tiger stripped, but phyllomedusa tomopterna does also found in the Amazon. White-lined monkey frog meaning 2 dedicated lines razer like white lines on its back starting from his eyes all the way down..without tiger stripped lines on its side its actually solid with some spots . I also own both lol

Love that waxy tree frog. Its ok to flip the camera off once in a while lol. I have that same reaction in road rage lol or in general lol. Surviving one venomous snake bite is remarkable enough let alone over 100 wow. A Boomslang bite would not be one to take lightly. Beautiful snakes like coral and boomslang I would not recommend especially if you thousands of miles from a clinic want to be bitten by. Very remarkable and respect.

Kindly share, if possible, the circumstances surrounding the classification of Chironius scurrulus and other related species within the same Genus as being known as "venomous" and "deadly," as proposed by the individual in the video. Despite my personal experience with this species, I have not previously encountered any information suggesting that the Genus is hazardous or more so than the Heterodon here in North America. I'm curious to know more of what you find...Thanks in advance and for another great video...

What is the species of the colubrid at the end? I never heard it. It was eluded that it was similar to a boomslang in venom effect, but no species mentioned

Someone needs to unravel the mystery behind the iguana head bobs. I had greens as a kid and they bobbed but I had no clue. Now I have a blue and he's always bobbing and I wiggle my fingers back. I don't have a clue what I'm saying, but I can pick him up after I bob back much easier.
