Another great Vlog PJ. Love the Blue mountains. By the way Louise Bennette is well known as Jamaican Folklorist, Poet, Singer, theatre Actress and Mother of Jamaican Culture, particularly language and would speak the Kings English on the one hand and patois on the other so she is a Jamaican Icon of language & Culture. So glad you went to Blue Mountain Peak, just watched the video. Regarding the blue mountain coffee the coffee is creamy rich and delicious. You can drink it any way, drink it strong and black, which means no milk, cream or sugar like you had it, cream and two sugar or coffee and condensed milk ( sweet milk) yummy my fav with the condensed milk, hot or cold. The condensed milk is fattening though. yes expensive to go there for one the roads are extremely bad to drive on, it's like a mini tourist resort as back in the day people who were writers or very rich went there as a mini short relaxing break they had second homes there. Very quiet cool calm area hence expensive. Yes cafe blue is extremely popular but food coffee and cakes are good. They have a cafe blue in Liganea souverign plaza. It's a branch of it. Been there two years ago. You can go through the army camp and you can camp out and also see them training. Loads of land slides etc. so soldiers help clear the roads. See you are passing the military. When you go over the next parish you will see loads of little rivers you have to pay use to be free but they put locks on because people drink eat and throw the rubbish there. We pay for water in Jamaica we have serious droughts there hence water lock offs etc. You have to be extremely fit and have plenty of time to walk the actual peak.

Irish Town and the Cooperage in the hills of St. Andrew, was named after the Irish settlers who were coopers and lived in Irish town settlement. In the mid-17th century, after the English took Jamaica in 1655, the Irish population temporarily outnumbered the African population due to the large number of Irish indentured servants brought in by the British, before the transatlantic slave trade expanded overtime. KFC is manmade processed food, coffee comes from the earth can't compare the two. I have spent most of my Summers in Miami and i know how Cubans take their coffee, this is alien to many Jamaicans it's almost as if the coffee is incomplete without sugar and milk.
