Oxbow luanch...!!! I have the same river access map for WA (1975 Edition) I use to use to find new spots to fish when I first started hunting steelhead, literally in the 1970s. :) I think it's great that you are talking about the basics of tackles but also about how to find locations AND conditions to look for. There are so many amazing tools out there. That's great help for people who are just trying to get into steelhead fishing. @11:14, Matt played the perfect straight man role. @11:00, you gave away your secret to catching fish. I didn't know we had to speak to our bait.... :) Still trying to decide which one of you have the best fishy smile..!

Those are AWESOME map books! DeLORME Atlas and Gazetteer is also cool, each state has a book and it shows logging roads as well. Thanks for sharing. But you know there's no place like home! Where you can find your custom native floats!😂😂😂😂👍🎣🤙 Keep smiling kiddo and stay safe on your ventures!🎣

They're a great mix of quality and value - they absolutely do everything that a steelheader or salmon fisher needs to do. I've found that differnt sizes and permutations make quite a difference, so make sure to match the rod size/action with what you're intending to do with it.

I fished the Chetco one time and I caught a twenty pound chinook and so did my friend. He lived there. Shoulder to shoulder with the typical braggart everybody got tired of droning on and on crowing like a rooster as constantly snagged them.
@BadAshOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
we found a MASSIVE chinook carcass. DEFINITELY want to get up there for fall chinook season, hopefully in our NEW NRS Raft!
