Exploring New Waters for Fishing & A Shore Lunch Cook Up - Spring Fishing In Newfoundland

Join us as we paddle and bushwhack along Newfoundland water systems in search of Brook Trout, arctic char, and landlocked salmon!
We have a delicious Newfoundland style cook up, including homemade beans and moose sausages, and some comforting hot beverages on the shore of the waters .
Come along as we catch some extremely rewarding fish as we worked extremely hard to conquer the conditions of late winter/early spring in Newfoundland !

Another nice one boys! I've been there and drowned a few worms with a buddy of mine few years ago. Was a lot warmer than that when we were there and we did catch trout! Not the one someone left on the shore ahah!

@@Braydencoish we fished all that area many times, flew in mostly, up around Hinds Lake, Howley area, the narrows. Lots of landlocked and scattered big ones. My buddy caught one over 4 lbs there one morning!. lots over 2 lbs . Ever get to Granite Lake area fishing? Used to be good fishing there too.

@@hunt4fish grandfather was telling me about granite lake. Id love to make a trip in there … & yes howley produces great fish. Both my PB’s were caught in a cove near the narrows , 7.4 landlocked & 4.4 Trout ! Couple years before I ever started taking photos , or videos. I’ve came close but still haven’t broke it !

That’s fire tiger is a good colour for them landlocks, we used to catch them on jerk baits in the fire tiger pattern up trolling grand lake

I mainly fish the grand lake water systems & its tributaries , but all my life despite being relatively young , the fire tiger is by far the best producing pattern for Landlocked Salmon , & it’s not even close ! Thanks for watching !
