Oh wow. The whole flying -> waterfall -> flying sequence -- sound track, narration, story, feels - just wow. hmm. This episode made me cry. Even though this isn't my home, you REALLY nailed the nostalgia of longing for home or "simpler times" and wishing, in retrospect, that we would have realized all we had.

From my years in the air transportation (flight attendant, security manager, etrc.) I remember being told Gander is the largest capacity airport in terms of number of aircrafts able to land and remain on location. It was meant for those first decades of transatlantic commercial services, when a highly-safe landing strip (the closest possible to Europe) was mandatory. I've never landed there, but in Goose bay when we had a fuel issue on a flight between Paris and Montréal and had to cancel the ETOPS procedure. Such a long flight (England - Ireland - Iceland - Groenland - Canada... Canada again), with the weird thing of landing and taxying across all those military planes and helicopters... with 1,5 meters of snow around ! Unforgettable. Your videos are so rich in stories, details, humans and their lifes. So full of emotions. And this is what we need, after all. PS : we tend to forget it... wind is draining energy out of us, it is a very exhausting force of nature, plus it also creates static electricity (and lots in some cases)... all this makes for an accumulation of deep fatigue, the one "switching" you off at the end the day.

I remember the first time I saw an iceberg, it was from ~30,000 feet and I thought it was a sailboat in a bay somewhere in Newfoundland...then I realized how far above it I was and what it was that I was looking at. They're monstrously huge. It's a sight I'll never forget. I'm still hoping to see one up close someday :-) Also, that drone shot through the helicopter and over the waterfall was insane! So cool!
