Smart and Stylish and looking good, and the Stations and trains looked well since i Last stayed in Rhiwabon, and Wrecsam were the famous Ryan Reynolds who bought in to Wrexham FC, i crossed the ruabon to Chirk viaduct and half way across the train came, so jumped on the ledge , and didn't realise that it was a long drop to the bottom , but got off that railway very Quick, Chirk was next to Cadburys Chocolate Factory and a Long tunnel witch you fantastically covered, Thanks G this has been a great series of Wales and trains, off to sleep now 3:02amTake care

Bit of a 11th Doctor vibe going in there with the bow tie 😉 was wondering if you might go and get a peak at the Racecourse Ground,the home of Wrexham FC,and we get a quick view of a floodlights,which im happy about.One additional attraction you missed at Chirk is the castle but it's a bit of a walk from the railway station and of course there is only a certain amount of time you can spend at each destination in order to return you to your point of origin before the sun goes down.It's a timey-wimey thing. Hope to see you at Barrow Hill Roundhouse 150th anniversary event this coming weekend.I will be there on the Sunday.🤗

Great way to finish, loved your outfit. Well done. The smell at Chirk was probably the nearby Paper Mill. Ruabon used to be the junction for one of the most scenic journeys through Wales, 54 miles of magic all the way to Barmouth Junction (now Morfa Mawddach on the Cambrian) thanks for some sunshine ☀️ into a mad world. Not only "seerees complete" G - You absolutely smashed North Wales! Well done you 🙂. (I love the Wigan way you say "series" too btw). This series had the lot: Irony (False start, all trains cancelled - ep.1); Humour (huge orange chickens that fly away - ep. 2); and a beguiling looking G in ep.12 adorned in TFW 'Red Robot' livery wearing a pair of braces (NOT suspenders G - them's American!). Best of all tho' was G's defiance in giving her claustrophobia 'the finger' by walking through the nearly pitch dark 400+m tunnel just to entertain us (and fight a phobia too no doubt, just like she did by going through the Merseyrail tunnel). Nice one G!

yep i think Chirk was indeed a good place to end its kinda also the middle of no where, but it is a stunning place that and hay as a kid of 10-11 we used to ride our little kids bikes through that tunnel, and yeah i do recall being pretty freaked out by it, it gets very dark in the middle, well with ya completion, its been a fun watch, sort of kinda my home-ish area and further to places i just love

Sure, you've mentioned the Festiniog railway, the Talyllyn railway and (albeit unknowingly) the Welsh Highland Railway, but there are a few other lines in the area, including the Snowdon mountain railway...

You would have had a much bigger job until the 1960s because Ruabon used to be the start of the line to Barmouth, of which only the Llangollen Railway remains. Still, well done on completing the series and looking forward to your next adventure.

A fantastic end to the series, congrats on completing all the stations in North Wales, enjoyed every bit of of the series. I have heard that Virgin and then Avanti have that one train a day to Wrexham. And Chirk does look very beautiful indeed and that tunnel does look very dark and scary, would love to try walking through it without a torch or anything sometime. I'm looking forward to seeing which part of the UK you decided to explore next. :)

I'm considering getting one of those 2+4 TfW mk4 sets from Hornby, although it's the 67 that does the hauling (or pushing, in your case), not the mk4 dvt (the 82, as you called it).
