@TheAntiSanta7 жыл бұрын
There's actually more Good Super Hero flicks than bad, unless you start including Straight to Home Video crap and Knock-Offs. There are an Equal Amount of Bad Spider-Man Films as there are Good Ones. Marvel puts so many At Least Okay films every year that they more than make up for all the shit that other companies made with their characters. Fox might have made shit like Last Stand and Origins, but the rest of their Movies with X-Men are Good to some degree; and they've only released 3 Fantastic Four movies, so that's not that much. And an ass ton of these Smaller Super Hero flicks are top notch. You might be tired of Men in Tights fighting Weird Assholes, but that doesn't stop them from being good movies.
@Raddaatt7 жыл бұрын
I disagree with you there. To me a competently crafted blockbuster is not a good movie. Most are action flicks without substance and the only redeeming factor are the weirdos the tedious heroes are fighting. But it's fine if we disagree on that. :)

Easily, in my opinion, one of the best superhero movies ever made. Although for a superhero film, it really is its own unique thing, coming across as a comic book or even a manga sometimes for some reason due to the amazing cast, production values, camera work and plot. I can re-watch this movie too, which is saying a lot. Personally, this is one of my all time favorites ever made and a total fluke too. Thank you for covering this dude.

Push is definitely underrated. I had never heard about it and only just watched it yesterday and have to admit I was a little apprehensive to watch it. I fealt the story line was very good and well thought out. I appreciated the logic and consistency was well crafted. Frankly, it's way more believable than most superhero movies, which I'm growing tired of the genre. The cast was top notch, IMO. Good acting. Good action that was not overboard like many big blockbusters. I had wondered how they managed shooting in the Hong Kong crowds, and now I know. Funny that they would act out a crime there in front of people, and noone even notices -- exactly how I remember Hong Kong crowds :-D. It was definitely confusing trying to keep track of that big grift. It's not my top movie, but I thought it was solidly good and well worth the watch. As for trillogy, I'm one who's not crazy for too many sequels. Like Matrix and Jurrasic Park and so many others, the first one was the one that counted and the rest were just forgettable, IMO. So much in the superhero genre are just a bunch of unbelievable powers saving and destroying the world, which was fun when they first came out, but now they all seem flat.
