It’s not that expensive if you know which hood to live in outside city center, places to eat like hawkers, and take the mrt to get around. Taxes are low (

yeah there are ways to live affordably anywhere, but I am comparing apples to apples, ie similar lifestyle in SG will cost more than an equivalent lifestyle in many other places

Good grief - 85 SGD for breakfast in Singapore???? FYI, that's top 0.001% spending. Most Singaporeans don't spend more than $5 for breakfast, even the rich ones.

I didn't whine, just making an observation. I can afford it, doesn't mean it makes sense to live there over other options, there is a difference

Yes if u intend to find a partner and have kids here. Your children most likely will.become a olympics champian in Singapore. Get ur child to learn mandarin
