I don't knw why most of the people skip galle these days aftr heading to Mirissa they think its over. Please yall should definitely visit Galle. You can head to unawatuna beach ,jungle beach and galle fort. It will be really worth to visit

Here's something that you may not know: Sri Lanka was also known as emerald isle. The soil and even the rocks are mixed with tiny specks of gems. The water that flows through is energised and has a super quality. Perhaps Sri Lanka (or Ceylan as it was known ancient times), can earn much more by selling that water than from tea. You may find that even our elephants are intelligent. That's the reason they had a good market for wars in Anatolia, etc, in ancient times.

It's beautiful how you guys had a good time. And It's sad the little bird was sick. If you ever plan to visit Sri Lanka again (because you unfortunately missed most of Kandy; especially temple of sacred tooth relic) here's something I, as a Sri lankan, want to say. The temperature difference between each provinces is something to be taken into account. In Central and Sabaragamu provinces, it's way cold compared to West, North or North central. Because mountains are mostly located in Central and Sabaragamu provinces Humidity level is higher. In contrast cities like Anuradhapura is Warmer. These different temperatures have high impact on body and often make you sick;especially Colds, Fevers or headaches while travelling. Even though I don't know what Shanti's sickness was I think you should take precautions accordingly. I was really worried to see you outside in that rainy whether without a hat, jacket or an umbrella.

Hello good to hear Santi is well and I have some suggestions if you are interested in bathing you can go checkout unnichai dam many other dams which are somewhat safe for kids. And its recommended not to use tuktuk or threewheeler as we call it. Bevause its not really meant for long distance travel ot would be tiring and also takes too much time
