Exploring the Mod Menu in Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

Decided to take a look at this new mod for Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (!!! One of the earliest mods for the game, hopefully we get more).

I tried to show off every feature of the mod menu, though a few things to note.
1) The game crashed 3 times while recording, twice while trying to spawn certain NPCs (afterwards I disabled a setting on the mod menu itself to prevent this crashing), one of these crashes was edited out entirely; and again while spam spawning pedestrian NPC models.
2) Because there are so many varieties of pedestrians, cars and special effects(?) that you can spawn, I did not go through them all.
3) I accidentally gave myself 2 achievements (achieve level 5 face, achieve level 10 face) as well as getting the achievement for using 10 different melee weapons to defeat enemies. I don't see it as a big deal but if you do, I'm sorry.
The Sleeping Dogs Mod Menu is a relatively new tool from sneakyevil and others. It can be downloaded at github.com/sneakyevil/Sleepin... Instructions for its installation are on that page as well, I did have to use the original 1.0 executable for the game in order for it to not crash.
This video was recorded on PC using v1.4.2 of the Mod Menu.

I found a room with a glowing Chinese guardian lion, I don’t think it’s ever in any cutscenes but it’s just there, and the only way I know how to get there is by noclip, it’s in south east central right where you finish the mission “important visitor”

@@easyandy1337 its kinda finicky to get there, once you noclip in, the game loads for some reason, like a script was meant to be activated there, it looks like a meeting room where top triad leaders would meet.

I haven't tried that myself but as far as I've read, from other people testing things out, no they do not. It may change in the future though as the Github page has a section for suggestions and that's one that is being considered.

Yes it is only for the Definitive Edition, the normal version of the game doesn't work with the mod manager.
