Exploring The West Macdonnell Ranges, Northern Territory

Unexpected trips and moments in life are the best. I was on my way to Cairns when a bush fire blocked the main highway and I got stuck in Alice Springs aka the middle of Australia. I had to wait for 6 days until I was able to head over east to Queensland again. I met so many amazing people in Alice secret backpackers. It has a very chill and amazing vibe. While there I met a few other backpackers from all over the world and we rented a little Toyota Corolla and went exploring out to the West Macdonnell Ranges. It was truly breathtaking as you will see in this video. We explored Simpsons gap, Ellery Creek Big Hole, Ochre Pits and Ormiston Gorge.
