Now if you were a lion or some other creature that actually needed to do such things then your case would be much stronger... However since you are objectively no such creative you're merely presenting and or confusing a less abusive form of something as being non abusive... @@RaceLever Respectfully, tell me what reasons exclude humans from "needing" to eat another animal for protein. Humans are literally animals... specifically mammals. What makes a human eating dog or cow any less acceptable than a lion eating a gazelle, both of which are trying to survive? Why, just because we've somehow "bonded" with dogs over thousands of years? What about countries in Eastern Asia? What is the food chain in biological AND ecological regards? Again, respectfully, other animals don't care about other animals' feelings, and don't consider "ethics" just to pass up their next live meal.

Yes humans are animals/mammals but you are cherry picking since mammals can be Carnivore/Omnivore/or Herbivore so your comment is a wash out... Also unlikely you fully agree with your own reasoning unless you want to release serial killers because humans are also animals so what makes killing say human children any different than a lion killing a rivals cubs... You would have to bite the bullet on many things you probably are completely unwilling to in order to pull that one off in order to test for and retain logical consistency... Since you brought up biology... You also have the problem that there are very different biological needs for physiological carnivores and yourself... Cats/Lions for one quick example can't synthesize taurine so therefore it's essential for them to eat animals to aquire it where as you (a human body) can synthesize taurine on it's own therefore has no need to eat animals to aquire it... Huge important difference... I hold no logical inconsistency about dogs... I think it's equally wrong to do such things to any animal be it a dog, a cow , or a human animal... You'll find it's usually western meat eaters who cry about dogs being harmed but then are fine with doing the same to other animals... I appreciate the respectful and polite discourse from you and appreciate that you do show some level of concern for the treatment of animals (which is weird by the way since your argument is in part that other animals wouldn't share your concern) however there are still objectively verifiable flaws in your arguments so I'm respectfully going to have to disagree with you and point them out since the other animals lack the capabilities to do so... ;-)

@@yessirthatsright this is actually a argument for animals since over 98% of USA soybeans and 75-80% worldwide go to animals. vegans also use more crops since they don’t have to convert the calories through animals (the trophic energy pyramid) But do you think protecting your crops/ keeping humans from starvation is the same as breeding animals into existence and torturing and killing them just because you like how they taste? Does it make sense in the human example? It’s ok to murder ppl because some people die in traffic accidents or In self defense?
