There are 2 options with crowdfunding: 1. You get scammed or the project doesn't deliver what is promised 2. The project delivers what is promised and is turned into a regular product which you can just buy afterwards with 0 risk. Most of the time you don't even really save money with the risk you take. They always claim "join the kickstarter and get 20% off the MSRP" but it's save to say that if the product is successful you will see it with a discount of 20% in the future.

Metal detecting sandals makes the act of metal detecting so impractical. I'd rather have a device that I can wand over the ground and it picks up metal signatures. If I have to use my foot to walk around on top of where the metal is, then I'll just start treating my leg like a detector, and I'll get really fatigued and lose my balance. Yeah but unfortunately the beaches of Singapore, which the creators are based in, aren't known to have much in the way of buried treasure since most of the beaches are reclaimed land and rocky

4:40 What if you walk into the ocean with them? They'll probably break or you'll get electrocuted. Although they are probably not powerful enough to electrocute you, like dropping a non-waterproof phone in water. It just breaks.

Truly wearable, classic marketing. What else would they be? They couldn't think of any other benefit so they just said it's truly wearable. I like reading packaging sometimes, I get a chuckle out of alot of the crap they put on the box. The last thing I remember was speedway selling a cup of ice made of "pure water" what else would ice be made of

Surely set it to mute, 2x speed and loop and then just leave it running in the background? If watch time it's calculated in real time, which I think it's not, then your way might be just fine.

The thing people don't realize is that "billion dollar ideas" are a dime a dozen. Literally everyone and their cousin has one. What's much, _much_ rarer is finding somebody that actually can follow through and execute their vision [in a cost effective way]. If you can do that, you're set!
