Agree with your point about giving room. especially with wing foils we can go upwind so much better giving so many options, why getting stuck where the crowd is. It's not like we're surfing a point break right? On kiting 's dead point. of course it's not... even windsurfing is not dead and enjoying a rebirth from the ashes. We're all wind and water poeple...

Kiting's not dead, but it has lost a ton of riders, and wont get as big of a share of new riders in the future. I went wing foiling instead of kite surfing for the first time yesterday. Foiling in the open ocean on big swells is undeniably fun. All my friends were kiting and asked me afterwards how winging was. I told them: "at this spot, I'll never kite again..."

I’m a windsurfer/winger. I think windsurfers have been waiting a long time to say kiting is dead. As long as we are all safe and having fun who cares.

Nice vid! Have you ever been out on a lake all by yourself and for some reason boats and jetskis somehow feel the need to buzz you....same thing with wind sports, it's human nature to just huddle, personally I like to be by myself ;) All wind people must stay united!

Nice. I suppose kiting- like many pursuits- is a microcosm of life. Some have a really difficult time coming to grips with it, but........ a major part of being a human b e i n g in general s that you can not do it alone.... you have to help each other. Embrace it and it is a beautiful thing.
