the music, the tone, the whole general idea behind this video is to make griner look like a victim. she is not a victim in anyway shape or form. she willingly broke the law in a country that has very different laws then we do and takes drugs very seriously. we traded her for an arms dealer literally nicknamed the merchant of death. there is a united states marine that is in the same prison she was held at and he’s been there for 7 years, but since he doesn’t dribble a basketball or have followers on instagram he doesn’t get to go home to his family. that’s the real tragedy. this country in the current state is sad and pathetic under the biden administration. shame on ESPN for posting this video when the actual victim is still in the russian prison.
@tw3314 Жыл бұрын
And why did the Marine get arrested?
@Tactical-JG Жыл бұрын
@@tw3314 allegedly for violence against a russian police officer. the point is that an American hero is wrongfully in prison while someone with followers and dribbles a basketball(who also hates america) gets to come home.

I’m glad they they at least didn’t edit it for Victor to say “This WAS a set up.” So there’s that. Also just letting it air period. This softy trying to lead Bout into saying Griner was some kind of victim was typical of ESPN.

No one mentioned that and that’s important to know; it doesn’t make the exchange “okay” despite people’s brains short circuiting and conflating your statement in saying that, I was under the impression when I first heard of the trade he was going to be in jail until the 2040s
