Hiya, you don't need a base coat IF you are applying the color straight onto the tacky layer of the hard gel. If you remove the tacky layer and shape the hard gel, use a base coat before applying color. You can do longer nails with this hard gel, many people use it with extension tips and forms 😊

No, it's a product similar to builder in a bottle. You could use a rubber base coat with it though, as a base layer.

Yes, but it's not as strong as builder gel so I wouldn't do them very long if sculpting xo

Yes, You can sculpt with it as well. It won't be as strong as a tip but lots of people have done it and it has been fine for them 😊

Yea, it's a lot different to acrylic. I first learned with acrylic and it took me a long time to get the hang of anything gel. You'll get there in time. I promise. Hey, we've got the same name 😊 awesome

Wow...if you waited a week your nails would have been at that length and you wouldn't have used the tips. also you could use one tip for one hand so you don't waste 10 tips. just take whats left and either drill a well or use as is.

It can, but it's not designed to. Alot of people use it for longer nails than this but I personally don't recommend it.
