​@@KK-dl6ft​​​i did end up trying :) mixing the egg yolks by themselves with mayo/mustard etc seemed to provide that creamy texture, working like a "sauce". Then you can choose how chunky you want the whites to be when they go in. If you don't care about consistency, its fine to just mix it all together lol

OK, I’m really curious why you separated the yolks from the whites. I’ve seen a couple of people do this and I’m just wondering because normally I just throw everything together when I make egg salad. Might have to try this next time. For anyone seeing this, try dropping your eggs into boiling water for 8 min, then into an ice bath. It's so much better when the yolks are only half cooked. Also, Happy Egg blue heritage eggs with the deep orange yolks 🤤
