I saw Joan in walking in NYC upper east side, with her lovely older man bodyguard , we approached her screaming we love you Joan, she waved to us come she was very nice funny and welcoming but the minute she knew we were from Israel visiting ,, she gave us 200 hundred dollars to attend her next show, we were amazed, surprised at her generosity❤️❤️

I recall there were some angry audience members. I think due to the extra crew for the special, or the extra lights or something. Some got up and left... I dont know - we thought it was great. And we went out in the alley afterwards and watched her film a little extra bit. I miss her humour. Always a fan.

I saw Joan Rivers in the mid 80's at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse, NY. We were in the first row, and I became part of her act for a bit. She was so funny, she had the audience in stitches. She was truly a comedic genius.

A brilliant mind who would’ve made a great comedian was the great British American Christopher Hitchens… All made fun of religion and right wing politics. I think it goes back to Rod Serling in 1975 who was constantly communicating messages for the people… and another incredible person for the people was Princess Diana. So many losses of the Brilliant humanitarians while the wicked continue to hurt many. We love the brilliant brave souls who spoke out against stupidity and made us laugh. Thank you to all!😻👍

I was lucky enough to see her twice. Once at the London Palladium - she was there. When I saw Joan's last interview, an impromptu chat with a journalist when walking along the street, I thought wow, sometimes it's not always a good idea to let your thoughts be known....I distinctly remember thinking, oh Joan, your days are numbered now and sadly, I was right 😏
