Yes i also own the TASK J and reckon it's one TSOB knife for sure! A real survival knife, if we have to use that term.

Cool to see this one back again. Have the Task C which is a nice little EDC / Back Up / Light Outdoor Blade. The Tip is indeed stronger then one would expect. I‘m still waiting for a Video about the ER Shrapnel and / or Contact on your channel 😉

Hi, yeah many say they love the Task C fo sure. Yeah I'm waiting for things to ease off a bit before I look for some new suff. Trying to do my bit not getting couriers, to be couriering suff which isn't medical around the globe, including stuff I normally ship for work. I'll be honest with you, I did like the Contact but it is a problem for me to review in Oz as there is a good chance it would be taken at customs, although not double edged per se, it looks like it's a weapon rather than anything i can convince the authorities otherwise. I've had so many things pulled up and spent loads of time trying to get stuff out of customs over the years with letters from the suppliers even in support, that it's a big headache for me. But you never know......

Bush Camping Tools Got you. Yeah, that’s a problem. Then try the Shrapnel 😉 Are you and all your close ones well and healthy? Stay safe!

Greetings from las vegas! Love your videos,keep up the good work. I have the task j (you sold me on that from your vid) ,going to get the task next. Not concerned about tip. Not a bayonet of knives. Never saw a need to baton. I grew up in mountains of Colorado. Did a lot of camping and hiking. I do teach outdoor skills to youth. Shit! I'm rambling.well keep up the vids your one of the best!

Hey thanks so much for your comments. I very much appreciate them. Keep on liking them! Yeah i think the Task is just fine for bushcraft and as I've said in many vids and blogs, I demo batoning but in reality i very rarely do it as i can find loads of tinder in the places i go (even if that's to deserted islands-eg drift wood/reeds etc on the beaches.). I've even carried it in the Jungle several times and even there if you know what your doing, it is more than enough. Yeah always wanted to get to Colorado, one day. Haven't been to Las Vegas yet either LOL, although many of my friends have done the obligatory trip there.

good knife. if you are worried about thin tips then you are using the knife wrong. people dont know how to use knives. Great video!

Hi, yep too many people get hung up about having some 1/4 inch thick tip LOL! Thanks for watching!
@andrewh60344 жыл бұрын
Like the varied blade thickness. When you say original , did AR change the knife at some point? Haven't heard scrumptious in a long time, but that is certainly what it looked like. ATB

Hi, thanks for your comments! By "original" I just wanted to distinguish it from the more recent model called the TASK J, which, although has a slightly similar shape is entire different in profile (ie thicker blade, dual guards- military specific, made for an Austrian commando force).
