I saw a hack that to keep the little bins in the drawers from sliding around put a little bit of dollar tree poster tack on each corner. I haven't tried it but I seems like it would work. 🤷🏽‍♀️

When it comes to things that I use mainly around the holidays, like the cookie cutters/platters, I pack them away with the Christmas decor. Out of sight & out of the space that I use daily, that helps me be able to find the things without the frustration.

It's best to empty everything from a space, so that you can see everything you have, and see if you have duplicates.... And it's just good to put into perspective how much you REALLY have, I definitely found this helpful. Marie kondo suggests this in her book, the magic of tidying up. Ps. I haven't watched the video yet, but I'm excited. I think it's going to be good xx

Try taking the silverware drawer out and then the inset might fit and you can slide the drawer back in that's what I did and it works perfect it was just the angel preventing it from fitting the extra quarter inch it needed

Your video appeared in my feed and I recently reorganized my kitchen cabinets so I had to watch it. I have to go through my cabinets about every two years because I'm the only person in my house who keeps it organized and neat. I have a 20 year old daughter who still lives at home and she buys her own snacks and food. We have a competition about space so I re-thought how I store pantry items. I literally put the food items right by the stove, microwave and refrigerator and I can't believe how much more space I have and how convenient it is to have it where we use it! More than 20 years in this house and I just figured out a better solution??! My daughter now has three shelves of her own in the pantry... no competition now because I figured out a better storage place. Kudos to you for doing all of your kitchen in a short time period (nap time?)! Enjoy!

Way to go girl!!!!!! I just got rid of a ton of knives too! I put them in a box and made sure to label each side so the staff where I donated them would know to be careful when opening the box up! I kept 1 chef knife, 1 filet knife, 1 bread knife and a few paring knives! It was so freeing! Thank you for sharing!!!!!! Awesome job!!!!

Usually when I watch a video that starts out explaining "this is what I'm going to do" I skip it. I watch yours BECAUSE of it, lol. I feel like I'm in the kitchen or wherever with a friend and we're just enjoying the ride. After this one though, I'm gonna need a bigger car to haul off the goods.

I swear baskets are a gamechanger! I put everything into baskets. It's easy access because you can pull it out , you can easily carry all that stuff to another place where you need it at this minute. Since I implemented baskets in my life even cleaner became easier and faster.My cabinets get wiped down two times a year instead of once every two years because taking the baskets out with all the stuff just takes seconds instead pulling out each item individually. I just run the basket through the dishwasher if something leaks and the mess is contained. That's another thing it always looks clean and organized.Can't rave enough about everybody should try it!

So satisfying! Great job! FYI - If you want to rearrange a shelf or two, all you have to do is pop it up and remove it on an angle. No need to remove any of the cabinet doors 😉 It looks like you might have tabs that lock your shelves into place. If that’s the case, you should be able to press in the top locking mechanism in order to pop the shelf up 😁

Girl!! You are crazy! But you have given me the courage to tackle my kitchen. After 38 years of marriage, I have way too much stuff. To properly declutter, I will empty my kitchen cabinets, 2 stand alone cabinets, my laundry room has a huge shelf, the coat closet is my pantry, AND the garage has a ginormous cabinet full of various kitchen appliances and extra dishes.

I made 2 lazy Susans for my mom's cabinet back in march of 2019. We had a lot of fun doing it. All supplies needed are at your local hardware store for a mere fraction of the cost. She loves them.

Tip from another declutterer I watch -- dollar store sells some picture tack which you can put underneath the drawer inserts so they don't slide when you open and close the drawers.
