As an observer on the outside looking in, I feel that the leather chairs are perfect. They anchor and balance the dark and light scheme of the whole room . They are so elegant and beautiful. They are statement pieces alone. But they perfectly blend with your new settee making the wood embellishments pop.

Such a beautiful elegant cozy room. You really nailed it perfectly . It’s not heavy and dark it’s perfect. Love everything in the room. The rugs are perfect the couch the drapes the chairs decor everything.Iam so happy you have the spines of your books showing! I really truly dislike the trend of showing the pages of the book instead of the spine espeacially in old books. I love seeing the titles and font and colors it adds so much to the room . I don’t know how that trend ever got started but it absolutely does nothing to add to a room to see book shelves with books white pages instead of the history color and warmth so way to go they look absolutely beautiful and at home in that room. @@SheHoldsDearly Me too. The colors and the titles they truly are pieces of history and art. You always pick up the most beautiful old books I’ve seen. You need to Come to Maine where I live . It’s at the southern coast next door to Portsmouth NH which is also stunning . I live in York surrounded by the ocean. We are an Hour 15 minutes to Boston an hour up the white mountains in NH and wait till you see kennebunk and kennebunkport plus our town here in Maine . You can cover three beautiful states in such a short time. You’ll also love Newburyport Massachusetts which is 30 minutes from here. Look these places up on line I think you’ll be much inspired. You look so pretty in those dresses! I think THIS is your style. You fit beautifully in it. The sconce between the windows would show up more if you spray painted it the color of your dog book ends and would look amazing. The bulletin board needs something around it or on it, just a little too plain for Jane Austin. Needs to have a "used" look. Just suggestions. Keep the recliners. Love this room!!! I think that the leather chairs ground the room and balance the feminine details. I also was a fan of the drapes with some pattern-it adds dimension and visual interest vs. the solid white ones. I mentioned that in a previous video-just my opinion. The new couch is pretty and love the coffee table make-over still!

I think the recliners are fine and add another texture. I love the couch but I’m not sure about floating it. Cozy room. An embroidery hoop with embroidery would solidify the Pride and Prejudice effect. It’s one of my favorite movies. Your videos are always so calming and I love how you use your thrifted finds.

But they ordered theirs, i think they come in black or white and if course you can paint them if you want a diffrent color. I've also saw the diamond shaped ones.. and they're easily removable. Not sure where they ordered them from, but of course that can be googled. I just think they're beautiful! A secretary Is a piece i eventually want. I love how your styled the top of the piano, so pretty!😊 And I'd love to own a sofa like that, its beautiful❤ I love the rug, the pattern is so pretty and looks vintage. I really like the leather chairs, they look really good in this space. I love the brass outlet covers.. that can get expensive of course. But we have the ones that you just paint right over the same color as the room, makes it a little more simple. So many times when you find the ones you like, you'll come up one or two short and you can't find them anywhere🥴 Again, i really love this space, its has that Victorian vibe, is cozy and inviting.. and again, its gorgeous! Absolute perfection: the sofa (!!!), the paint color, the gilded coffee table, the carpet. Really nice: the dark chairs, the dark wood furniture pieces. What I think might work better: drapes and window seat cushion in a white background but with a small floral pattern. There's something stark about the vast expanses of white against the warm old-world feel.
