EXTREME PENNY FARTHING BIKE VS POWERFUL PARAMOTOR!

Extreme penny farthing bike vs Powerful paramotor! I go as fast as possible on the penny farthing retro MTB using a 2 stroke engine paramotor strapped to my back and things got scary, would you try this craziness?
I had the bright idea to put the paramotor engine on my back and go as fast as possible on my penny farthing and what a ridiculous idea it was but also the best fun ever too! After a small modification to the bike by taking off the pedals and fitting cranks it was time to fly by on this retro MTB freeride machine but would the bike last? With the added weight to the frame I was really worried the bike might snap and end me....

I love these Sam. But I can not stress enough how incredibly dangerous it is to ground start those. Just don’t. Imagine if the throttle you just mentioned stuck open while in the ground. You’re gonna lose limbs. Just toss it on your back and start it mate. There’s a couple really important rules to paramotors and that one is nearly #1 Just want you to be able to keep making vids man. ❤❤ love ya. Cheers!

Theres also the chance that if he fell off and shattered the prop that bits of it could hit members of the public. And also during a crash he could easily lose a hand. I'm all for fun and games but c'mon man, do it in a safe and controlled environment.

If it's on your back and the throttle is stuck open does it just pin you on the ground and is there a kill switch you can reach?

​@Dylan - The red button on the throttle is the "kill switch." He's overdramatising but, it can be a very dangerous situation especially if you aren't used to the power, thrust, and weight being on your back. "Turtling" can be a problem, also. When airborne under a wing (parachute-like unit) you don't feel the weight as you are basically suspended in the frame while the wing carries the weight of the paramotor.

From an efficiency point of view, the Penny Farthing bicycle is perfect match for a paramotor. If you can weld some bracing to the frame, it will be able to withstand the stresses a bit better and upgrade the brake to a disc. Super-dangerous but this was the best video ever.

A prop like that doesn’t provide much at slow speed to push up a hill. It’s more for speed. That’s why prop powered cars didn’t work well. They’d get good speed, but also get stuck on hills.

I've ridden in PPC on a trike setup and I'd compare the experience like that of a mx dirt bike as far as the acceleration and speed those props can give. Like he's not exaggerating you can flat haul azz with those. 🤘Sam you are my spirit animal man

Crazy stuff mate. Imagine launching on that contraption. Be careful with 2stroke motor as they always go fastest when running out of fuel and sometimes rev so hard without input of throttle. Happened to few of us on our motocross bikes. Awesome work mate Avagud1
