Nuno has stated in several interviews, he was paying homage to EVH in this solo, of course, with his home stamp on it. I've been playing guitar for 30 years, and Nuno is about the best there is

I've heard four songs , they all have incredible solos , and check out " Other Side Of The Rainbow" , an acoustic song with an incredible electric solo , probably my favorite Solo Of The Year!

The whole beginning of the solo was for Ed...The tremolo picking and the dive bomb...He said he cant replace Ed but he wants to keep Rock guitar alive now that he's gone...

Never was into Extreme (didn't even know about that ballad) but always been a Nuno fan; this solo is insane but it doesn't surprise me coming from Nuno; he's been this good as far back as I can remember

Nuno was actually Rihanna's touring guitarist. There`s a cool documentary on it. He said she let the band do basically anything they wanted to "rock it up", so they took total advantage of it.

Paul Geary left on Waiting for the Punchline to become a talent manager. Kevin's been their drummer for a while now (since 2007), though there was another one, Mike Mangini, in-between Paul and Kevin.

Mangini was in Tribe of Judah with Cherone and Badger, but K Fig out lasted the other two drummers.

Now, try "Banshee" and "Rebel". I thinks it's the best order. Rise is good, banshee is a tad bit better... And Rebel is simply a great rock song... For me the best of the bunch, with the vocals shining bright.

No doubt that there are similarities between Cherone and Weiland’s moves. That said, I don’t think Cherone is adopting them (or at least if he did, he adopted them 30 years ago). If you go back and watch him in the late 80s and early 90s (and during his short stint in VH) his stage presence hasn’t really changed.
