EXTREME STREET FOOD IN TURKEY - Today I'm going to take you on a street food adventure in Ankara to see the kebab king of Turkey making the famous Cağ kebabı and much more.
To start our extreme street food tour in Ankara, we went to a traditional local restaurant where they make home-cooked food. We've had the Turkish famous kuru fasulye and other foods.

After breakfast, we took a taxi and went to an industrial area where they have the best food in Ankara.
We went to a very local shop to try the famous Kavurma, sauteed meat.

A few steps away from the Kavurma place, we found a gentleman selling a liver sandwich with boiled egg and other fresh ingredients.
To continue our extreme street food tour in Ankara, we went to a popular restaurant in the area serving hundreds of meatball sandwiches to hungry customers every day.

Amazing food video. I had one time Oltu kebap (another name for Cağ kebap). It was the best meat I ever had. When I am again in Turkey I will definitely eat Cağ kebap, Büryan and Beyran.

@@AbroadandHungry I live in Germany. We have Turkish food also here, but u cant compare it to Turkey. Everything tastes so better because we are not part of the EU, our food variations concerning vegetable diversity, seed regulations, etc. are much more. And u can also taste them. since the EU a lot of vegetable and fruit or grain varieties disappeared from the markets. (somehow must the food mafia trusts must be supported). But slowly they're also penetrating the Turkish markets. So enjoy while u can still find organic food (especially in small villages, where they use their own local seeds and meat).

Having watched your Turkish adventure for a few months, I am coming to the conclusion that the better cooks are from Eastern Europe and Asia Minor (not to forget the Maghreb). The breads look so much more yummy than the doughy stuff from France. I get the sense there is more love and knowledge of cooking than in that country that just puts lots of salt in their cooking to give it flavour. The food is vibrant in flavour and colour. In France they eat their meat raw and invent silly names like mis en place or mirepoix. I think you should buy a home in Turkey for holidays.

The stacking up of the lamb kebab is truly about the love of food, with dry marination, well, and it seems convenient not to be dripping everywhere while being carried out. 😂 It is fun to work part time rotating kebab, with a hair dryer mmmmmm Will dream on how they make that huge yellowish bread !
