i must say that azeris and Azerbaijani are different. Azeri's are iranic nation at the Iran but Azerbaijani are turkic people who called by name of geography and big part of Azerbaijan situated in Iran ( population of Azerbaijan republic 10 000 000 but population of Azerbaijan in Iran 35 000 000). Iran has huge turkic population and biggest is Azerbaijani and they began call us as azeri after fallin last turkic dynasti of Iran in 1925 and they try assimilate us USSR use same termine for us too. We are Azerbaijani (with all etnic groups -turks, caucasians, iranic, jewish and armenians togather we call himsel as Azerbaijani)

This sauce that we are calling adjika has nothing with classical georgian adjika. But in our language like in all other Turkish languages Adji means Hot. It will be interesting to know what adjika means in Georgian? And in that case can I say that the chygyrtma is only Azerbaijany dishes cause I'm sure in Georgian it means nothing..but in Azerbaijani it means screaming. Cause it's not concrete dishes it is just a way of roasting or boiling something when it gives specific sound like scream..we have eggs tomato chygyrtma, chicken chygyrtma..and just take a look to names of our dishes ..most of them ended by Ma..kovurma, dolma, soyutma, chygyrtma, bastirma, buğlama, dondurma, qızartma, bozartma.

I have to remind you that adjika is not in georgian language it is in Azerbaijani, Turkish from the word adji - acı - bitter, spicy. “Ka “ ending was used during Soviet acika . I have researched Azerbaijan and what stands out is their excellent foods and hospitality. I honestly have decided that I would love to visit there. Maybe someday. I'm happy hungry now after watching this great video. Meat with fruit is a natural pairing in my estimation. I love it.
