I know that this video is two years old and you have undoubtedly have heard this all before.... I am old and will retire soon, I have (almost always) wanted to work with wood and Leather. See I love doing the woodwork . I don't have your talent for visualization. This has to be the most overwhelming video I have seen to date of all the flips I have see, I have seen a lot!! Amazing, stunning, awesome, or unbelievable just don't cut it. It was fascinating to see your use of the stencil. Thank you so much, Katie Anderson

After stripping one of them with paint stripper I said to my husband....we have got to find a better way! I have never thought about using it on wood however. I love soda blasting! Need to explain to hubby why I must have one.😁 Pro tip from Melanie Mel; if you have finished a base coat or stain, seal it! So much time saved if you have a boo boo. I too use those wedge make up sponges, brushes are too intimidating. Really useful if you are doing multiple colours. I’ve been wanting to do a Gucci inspired piece but it felt like a lot of work. Now I know it is.😁 You have such a wonderfully creative mind! Thx for the leather handle tips. I think the tool is called just a leather edge tool. 👏👏💕 Nailed it!

The presentation of your tutorial gave all the necessary steps to create this beautiful piece of furniture. Painting then stenciling the unseen areas…….love it…..it showcases the usually ignored areas of the furniture perfectly! Now I want to create my own piece using my logo…….so I have some research to do for my supplies. I do have a three questions: 1. when creating your custom colours…….how did you know how much to mix up so as to have enough for your entire project? 2. what did your friend use to create the stencil. 3. what was the diy wax you used. 🥰

As for the stencil my friend made it on a some kind of large machine she owns. She only made me the stencil because this dresser was a gift for her daughter. Hope that helps good luck 👍

The difference between you and me is I have the experience to do this but no imagination.😟 I’d just stare at that all day with no idea where to start. So that’s you’re real skill in my opinion 😉🙂

Wowzer! Incredible job!! So I’m clueless on color and always astounded by you and other furniture painting artists, “so to keep it from being a gray color, I added yellow.” Uhhh??? What? Your color was exceptional. But how do you get to the place where you KNOW yellow was the correct addition? I think I get why it was needed (there was enough white in the milk chocolate to cause the caviar color to go grey. And I understand that there’s yellow in brown. But, why didn’t you add blue or red? - I’m asking an ignorant question, I realize. But I hope you can understand my lack of knowledge and answer me.

Ha ha there’s no secret other than trial and error. I played around with small amounts in a paint palette until I figured it out. Sorry I wish I had a more exciting answer for you LOL.

I'm attempting this as a surprise for my daughter. It was going to be a Christmas gift, then a birthday gift, but now will be a house warming gift. I was a little bit intimidated by the scope of the undertaking! But once I got the sanding and the repairs done on the drawers, and the trim put on the sides because mine did not come with that, I am really excited about how quickly it's moving along! I'll try to post a picture when it's finally complete. Thank you so much for your inspiration!
