Have you thought about just locking the door to your bedroom so the kids won't mess it up so that you have a clean retreat every night when you go to bed? You would be the only one having a key to your bedroom so that nobody can get in there and tear things up? It's not a bad thing really, it just means that it's off limits so that you have a place to get away from it all later when your tired and need some alone time and it's not a mess. Just a suggestion.

I have honestly thought about that. I tell them all the time that I’m not going to let them in my room anymore but I always cave. I need to stick to my word and actually deny them access. They get to ruin 95% of the house, they don’t need my room too. 😊

Rach Plus Five Yes girl. I agree. It's okay to have a place for yourself at the end of a long tiring day. You owe it to yourself. See if you can go to Lowes and talk to one of the guys there and tell them your situation. They will help you get the perfect lock that only YOU can get in and out of. I'm sure there is something out here for that kind of thing. You might have to have the doorknob changed but hey..... it's so worth it to have your own place of peace. After a long day to open your bedroom that hasn't been touched, all clean just like you left it, to just climb into your clean bed at night, after working in the kitchen, and laundry and cooking. All you have to do is close the door and that's it! No cleaning up your room BEFORE resting. Just take a long hot shower and climb into bed to watch tv. Aahhhh, so good! 👍🤗💕😍 Just do it! You won't regret it! My aunt had 4 kids and that's what she did. It totally worked!

You asked about the pillows. I noticed you have a blanket folded on your sofa. Go one step further, fold it into itself and use that as a pillow. I’m sure, being a You Tuber you can find a video with instructions on how to do that. Love your channel♥️🌹I did it with 2 quilts & have one at each end of my sofa. Also easier to wash & you always have a blanket available when you need one

Hi love your tips One to add I use plastic cutting flexible from Dollar tree and put on the shelves This allows me to remove and clean so the shelves remain clean.

My inlaws had a cross wave ( lost their house in a fire) and I would use it to clean their entire house ( all hardwood) LOVED IT! the self clean feature was awesome.

Great video! Thank you for the motivation 🤗🤗 Tip for perfect stainless steel: Sheila Shine. It’s spray, wipe and go! It also hides any etches or permanent water stains. Best stuff ever! I clean houses for a living and it’s been a godsend! Also, you can use Sheila Shine to treat the water drip tray on your fridge to prevent staining. It’s got waterproofing qualities to it. So just wipe once a week and you’re good!

I love Bissell Cordless Crosswave Max. It does get a little stinky and if you use it to dry vacuum the filter gets bad really fast.

I got the newer cordless version n return it. It leaked whenever I parked it. It's a breeze to clean after you finished. Eggplant color for sheets?? How many microfiber towels did you go through in this video? I know they say you can rinse your cloth and keep using it, but a lot of the cleaning jobs require a dry towel so I feel like I go through so many at a time!!

I go through probably more than I should each time I clean because I don’t like when they get really dirty and then keep going. And I will change rag/towel whenever I change my cleaning product. I’m just weird when it comes to microfibers haha.

Oh I absolutely love glass mugs! I have insulated glass mugs and they're so beautiful. I have a nespresso and the clear mugs really showcase the crema. My fiance does the same with putting almost empty things back, it drives me nuts when I go to get something and it's empty lol

Hey i also have a lot of tile floors, i have the same problem with the moping the floors it's like neverending, but one thing I do now is i keep my mop and bucket ready every day with clean water and i just spot mob, it makes such a big difference, my floors always look clean and it's not so much work, i hope that helps ❤️

Evening Rach 🌹🔥❤️💲💃 I'm new to your channel and I loveit thank you for sharing all your neat and thrifty things and I love your 1 hour cleaning session and I love the music more and I want to add if you see this that you asked about the bins underneath the table well I seen you have turquoise pillows there and you can do turquoise bins and change them out out with the color pillows you choose to put out on the sofa they don't have to be exact size just have hubby to measure and get close! It's jus for extra storage anyway. It took also bring that color out and I think I'm on number two or three I'm not sure you were saying something about the colors in your bedroom and the colors on your bed linens well think about the holidays you have Easter colors youb can go pastel colors you know fall colors I use the crayon all of the colors , there's always a new color of some sort added to them now. I have the exact same coffee table! I found baskets online at Target - look for "Rectangular Decorative Basket Natural - Threshold". They fit great if you let the handles fall to the sides. And I feel your pain about wanting summer OVER! I'm in SC, with about the same heat index range. The humidity is unbearable at times. Love your videos!

I have a crosswave, it's handy when you're in a hurry. But definitely not my go to. It's too streaky for my liking and makes my floors look a dirty kind of clean (if that makes sense). I end up having to clean my floors again cause it triggers my OCD. My son prefers the Swiffer wet jet, and I prefer the steam mop.

Hang or fold clothes as you take them out of the dryer. I use the top of washer and dryer to fold and a rack over the laundry sink to hang.

I wanted the Bissell Crosswave but talked to a few friends that had it and was told it is a pain to clean each time like a carpet shampooer basically if not it will stink awful and it doesn't get along walls/baseboards and the solution container is smaller so requires cleaning more often. So I decided against it, It just seemed like too much work in the long run. I have the OCedar spin mop and it does a great job, and I love the hack getting a second bucket! ! Do you like the steam mop better than the spin mop? I was debating getting a steam mop I saw a Bissell for $100 on Amazon if it really cleans better than the spin mop. Thanks!
