These are gold! Thank you. I’d love to invite y’all to the South to do a seminar just one time before y’all hang it up. The South needs some help.

Both are true, more so the loggers being sloppy, but a hot fire will burn the cambium on the uphill side. A controlled Rx fire won't kill many mature trees. Yes, NEVER turn a logger loose on your land without a consultant. I deal with the damage every day. Bid sales are actually hard now because of timber degradation and the cost of fuel to move it around

I agree Jim! They don’t waste the RR trait on poor plants. Anything with roundup ready traits are also aggressive germ and seedling vigor plants. RR alfalfa replaced soybeans on all my small property plots. It’s fantastic!

Anyone know what brand/variety of roundup ready alfalfa Jim Ward uses?

I’m not sure what Jim uses, Paul, but I use and love 4319 A2 RR Alfalfa. It’s a really good combination of leaf size and value.

I wish I never let the tops lay. Wish I would have had a company that had a chipper. If its over 15 20 acres mostly maple and popular please chip. Don't leave

If the Amish move in your deer hunting is over. I have large land area behind my house that i hunt. The Amish kill everything and hunt everyones land posted or not. They are terrible for the environment. They spotlight my fields at night ftom horse and buggy and use crossbows. They kill fawns and everything brown. I can go on and on with Amish hunting issues.
