How to use floor leveler on wood subfloor to fill low spots before laying new flooring

Using floor leveler is sometimes needed to bring floors back to level. We used Henry 555 floor leveler - a self leveling concrete - to level our floor before laying down a finished floor.

This floor leveler is specifically designed to be applied over many materials including wood. Not all floor levelers can be laid down over wood so be sure and check before buying.
After using screw jacks from underneath to raise this floor more than an inch, there were still low spots in the floor that resisted the efforts to level the floor we made with the jacks.
So we raised the low spot in the middle of the floor by the stairs by laying down plywood of different thicknesses to fill in. some of the volume of the dip or low spot in the floor. Then we used floor Henry 555 floor leveler to fill in the smaller areas creating a level surface over which we could install finish flooring.
The process to use floor leveler is:
1) Prime the subfloor - (Henry 554 primer)
2) Caulk the seams, cracks and holes in the existing floor
3) Mix the floor leveler (Henry 555 - 5 quarts of water per 40 lb bag)
4) Pour the floor leveler - work in sections
5) Screed the floor leveler using a straight edge - in this video a 2x4
