Hey youre the bees knees and shell toed elbows, love this, Im currently you know, losing my mind, got those 5th element el chubb skiboards, got a super deal on boots then couldnt figure out how to secure my boot in my binding, were about to get a bundle of snow this weekend finally, I work 7 days a week and cant take a day off but Ill be heading to the mountain Sunday as long as I can, only been down the slopes once, that was 2 years ago, went with two buddies and theyre competent snow boarders, I rented the skiboards, got a lot of hate on the mountain, couldn't tackle the bunny slope when I first started, by the time we left it was raining at 32 degrees and made pure ice on the whole mountain, most people were just sitting and waiting it out because apparently conditions were pretty bad, my friends couldnt keep up with me the last few runs, kids were screaming at me to fall, it was the fastest Id ever gone in my life outside of a vehicle and it felt great, I wanted more speed that day, anyway I cant figure out the boot situation so I open about 600 tabs on skis bindings and boots, Im swimming some may say drowning in the sauce of snow sport, all I need is the slightest push of guidance and I will be eddie the eagle off and shining down the hills, any advice on where to look or what brand is quality, whats a good price, am I worthless garbage that should just accept my loose boots and rock it like a rocket and keep my dollars in my pocket, or if living life to the dullest can be turned to the fullest which way do I go?

Nice vid. It is much fun when you are with group of boarders. Normally I ski, but boarders are slow. So i take the blades for fun. It's more difficult, because you can fall easier forward and backward. And it's heavier for the legs.
@iordeebeat4 жыл бұрын
I always had the perception that with my snowblades, while slower and with less 'brakes', I get more control less demanding for my legs 🤔

These are just plain wrong for a large person or eh..hmmm older person. It looks like you grabbed your kids ski's and tried them out is what it looks like. Onto the physics, at least from just watching the user appears shaky and out of control when doing crafted turns. On other words, this idea needs to move on to the idea file. That's my opinion and personally I'm happy to not see them on the resort...

@julopabene87369 жыл бұрын
+Roger Diotte Yeah, it does look a bit weird, but I can tell you, it's great! I have no problems controlling my Snowblades, although I am 186cm tall! That's mostly because they are not just shrunk down/ kid's skis, they have different edges, which prohibit you from doing a snow plough for example. I think one should at least try them once, because they look different from what they are ;)
@trishazeigler92 Жыл бұрын
Why can't you snowplow with them? I'm a new skier, 5'4" and I ski on 130-140 cm skis. Short skis seem a lot easier to learn on.
