I love breaking down all that’s happening in the tennis world. More often than not, I’m doing that over on tennismajors.com. Now, I’m thrilled to share some of my analysis with you here on my KZbin channel as well.
Today, I’m looking at the incredible case of Novak Djokovic. The 24-time Grand Slam champion is 36 years old and is in perfect shape physically. It’s remarkable that we see Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz going toe-to-toe on the tennis court, matching each other physically, and yet there’s a 16-year age gap between the two of them.
Physically, I believe Djokovic could play at the highest level until he’s in his 40s. There are plenty of other factors contributing to the longevity of his career so he may not; but his body is capable of it.
This exceptional physical ability is due to Djokovic’s years of commitment to training his body. His court coverage is second-to-none, while his flexibility and endurance are far superior to what would be expected of an athlete his age.
Part of Djokovic’s athleticism is thanks to his body type, which is the perfect makeup for a tennis player. However, it’s also down to his focus and dedication to working with the best professionals every single day, improving his body to become a better athlete.

Competitive footballers can’t compete at top flight at 40 at all. Even keepers flag around their late thirties. Top infield players tend to go to weaker leagues in their mid thirties. Like MLS / ASL or nowadays Middle East and China.

In tennis 3-4 hours matches No help you has too play full match Back to back matches Every round is knock out if you wanted tittle you have to win all the matches 20-24 hours of recovery time Also football is not expensive sports Clubs are providing all that things While in tennis you has to do by yourself Win matches and pay your bills. Also in football In one movement you can win the game But in tennis 3-4 hours to win. One simple logic team sports are more easier In football world cup is biggest thing because every round is knock out. While in tennis Every tournament Every round is knock out.

The craziest thing is that it seems that when Djokovic retires from this sport he will still have a perfect body to live out the rest of his days in comparison to most athletes who have to carry broken bodies with lots of problems for the rest of their lives... it is absolutely nuts. Just look at Nadal... The lengths Djokovic goes to keep his body in shape I think is unprecedented regardless of sport.

The single best example, for me, of this pursuit of bodily autonomy, was Novak's insistence to NOT take a covid vaccine, knowing that "the powers that be" would likely exclude him from playing specific tournaments. He knew the consequences, and STILL, decided to be the one to decide what goes into his body, and to not be forced, despite seemingly the entire world being against him, to take something that he was not 100% sure of. And we saw the backlash; it was not small. He was deported from Australia, and faced a potential ban for years. He is meticulous about what he chooses to put in his body in terms of medicine, drugs, and food. He changed his diet. Novak is like the ultimate professional. If he can get a 1% edge by doing something, he'll do it. If he does enough of these small things, then his edge becomes significant. It's up to the other players to find a way. Bravo.

Well, look at a players like Murray or Wawrinka, who play ever since year 2016 without winning any Big titles anymore. They play and they perform fine enough for the last 7 years, but a princess is in another castle Should they stop playing because of no Big results like before? No, they shouldnt stop. Players retire either because of injury or if not being able to win anything or well if results are not good enough. Anyway, as long a seasonal W-L results of whatever Top player are sort of positive, it still makes sense to play.

As an example , look at every other player in the top 20 or 30 ; only 3 can volley n play the net and finish a point at the highest level under pressure ; Alceraz , Djokovic & Tsipass. The rest are very ordinary in this regard - in my opinion thats also an important difference thats greatly helped Djokovic stay at the top

You’re missing quite possibly the most important thing for staying young and vibrant - being able to play into your 40’s at a top level. The fuel you put in the tank! Djokovic’s diet today was a journey that started with allergies and sensitivities to gluten. The fact that he has an open mind is what got him to where he is today with regards to diet. He fuels himself on a whole food plant based diet but in the framework of @medicalmedium protocols. I believe other players like Federer, Nadal and Delpo could’ve prevented surgeries and missing out on competing if they followed Djokovic’s diet. Don’t underestimate the fuel that goes in the tank!

I only hope that the reason for his retirement won't be any kind of injury.

Which explains why it was crucial for Novak to say no to the Covid vaccinations. He was even willing to contract Covid, thereby gaining immunity for a long time, instead of putting a wide assortment of questionable, experimental ingredients into his blood stream. But because his autonomy went against the political and popular trends, he was treated like a nefarious outcast.

I like Djokovic a lot too but this irrational phobia of the vaccine is so strange. Do you seriously believe that the covid virus is less dangerous than the vaccine? Just because you don't understand the vaccine's mechanism and how it gives you protection does not mean it is more dangerous than the covid itself. Also almost every single player besides Djokovic got the vaccine, can you tell any of them having any problems due to it? I received the vaccine myself and had zero long term implications. I also caught covid and covid was 100 times worse than the vaccine. Probably all those dead from covid would agree with me.
