Bob Ross of weight painting! LOLLOLOL! I love Bob Ross. After watching him, he will make you think you can do the same thing he's doing. But, it never worked for me. Great tutorial dude. I will probably watch this 2-3 times to let it sink in. I am so glad you showed me a traditional way to rig a character. I'm a little confused with skin tag and what it is used for.
@eyedesyn5 жыл бұрын
oh yeah! BIG difference between watching and doing! we psychologically are more confident by watching videos but then when we actually do the thing our confidence crashes back to earth when you realize how hard it really is! haha so the skin tag is the deformer that allows the joints to act upon the FFD. think of it as a link between the joints and FFD. Hope that helps!

@cameronleahy40392 жыл бұрын
Hey EJ. Are you able to add a jiggle deformer to this setup? Can't figure it out.

You can if you put everything in a connect object and apply the jiggle to the connect - at least that’s my theory 😂

Nice Tutorial, as always! But redoing the rig, I was facing one problem: unfortunately the joints only work on the FFD when moving or rotating them. The nice bulging effect when scaling the controller/joints somehow doesn't work. Any ideas, what the issue could be (transform P,R and S in the consraint-tag are all checked)?
