20:35, Instead of putting it into a null, you can also use freeze transformation to zero those coordinates out. It's very easy. And you won't have to go inside the null and grab the circle everytime to animate and all that since it's not in the null now. Right? I assume you already know that by now lol. Your tutorials are great by the way.

Why would u use the interactive technique? Is it more professional or easier or procis or better or something? Cause the spline technique seems easier, faster and better for the exact same results and it seems that every character animator uses the spline technique

When I try to do it for the other corner of the mouth the X axis gets reversed. When It hit reverse in the range mapper it reverses it but chucks the points to be controlled further (in my case) right. Further to the right than it is supposed to be. In the Pose Morph it seem to randomly put the value at 100%, hence the overshoot. Does anyone has a solution for this/me? [EDIT: I got it! I had to change the Range Mapper for Position X to minus 40 instead of 40.]

I dont get it why people tend to model organic stuff using spline/nurbs/box whatever techiques. There allways is the weird thing that we call sculpting ;)

when it comes to animation, sculpting is not ideal. you generally want to work with as few polygons as possible and a symmetrical topology is key to getting natural and unproblematic motion. I agree for making stills, you come a long way with sculpting in terms of realism, if you are a good sculptor. but for games, animation and other "non-realistic" looks, it generally is faster and easier to work with parametric geometries and nurbs.
