Well said, Hank. I'm surprised at how much fulfilled prophecy is still being bandied around as futuristic events, especially 1948

I’m so tired of these end time “prophets”. Their twisting of scripture and false “words from the Lord”, it is doing so much damage both inside the church as well as damage to those outside the church looking in at the nonsense.

When I looked up the Hebrew meaning of Rosh, it has nothing to do with the name of Russia. I suspect Pat Robertson means well, but people like him seem to speciallize in speculation, and more speculation till they come up with somethig happening in the present moment that seems to fitt, while not knowing, or considering the historical circumstances at the time of the prophet Ezekiel, who lived at the same time as Jeremiah and Daniel.

Sadly Pat Robertson may not have meant well. Relatives of his criticized him quite a bit and said he was not who he made himself out to be on the 700 club.

Forget Rosh. Look at Magog and Gomer. The areas where those people settled are Russia and the Ukraine.

The question remains, who are Gog and Magog ? We know Rosh is not Russia as Steven Ben DeNoon clearly lays out the landscape of the middle east from biblical history and language. You should do a show on all the geography of the middle east. JCITWTL

So what does 'Rosh' refer to?? Also, your vid's slogan is disagreeable: Truth IS Life!
@kadyrov32188 ай бұрын
Pat Robertson is not a scholar. Ro'sh is not Russia. Russ is actually a Scandinavian word, where Russia comes from. Believing thst Ro'sh is Russia can shape one's eschatology in a very dangerous or deceptive place. The 3rd Temple in Jerusalem is also of no significance. "Christian" zionism requires one to sin. That's why it's wrong

I appreciate your point of view and agree. I would be intrested in what you think of the book "Mideast Beast: The Scriptural Case for an Islamic Antichrist" by Joel Richardson and would LOVE a video discussion of your views on it after you read it. During the emergence of ISIS I was monitoring internet traffic to help authorities take down the propaganda videos ISIS was promoting online during their attacks upon the US while they waged war in Syria. In fact, I watched the entire Arab Spring movement all the way up to it's final manifestation in the Syrian war. During that time I learned a bit about the fundamentalist ideology among radical Jihadists. They would (and still do) wear headbands with the name of "allah" centered upon the forehead and they would raise their right hand with index finger pointed to the sky to represent the ideal "only one God". They especially loved doing this while beheading people they captured in combat. Beheading was and still is their principal form of execution. While the movement has been hammered by both western AND middle eastern armies and derided even among those within the Islamic faith, they still fight as a unit in Syria. I thought it was intresting that they insignified both the forehead and the right hand and that in sharia law, when Islamic armies conquer Christians (or people of other faiths) they are required to force their captives to choose either to pay money regularly (to basically eat), convert to Islam or die. So I pondered this during the internet work during those years and this was after I had read the aforementioned book (which I read during the early days of the Arab Spring movement) and pondered a scenario where Islam dominated the world and out of memory of the martyrs it took to achieve that goal - there would be a requirement to place these words which the fighters wore on both the forehead and the right hand exactly as it is stated in Revelation. There are many many other intresting parallels to the ideological patterns within the description of the anti-Christ within that religion, including Mohamad being a very good (in my opinion candidate for THE false prophet ) and the "beast" being the religion of Islam. When the Arab Spring began I asked the Lord in prayer if He would show me what was going on in this movement and what would take place - and on February 2nd of 2011 I was directed to Ezekiel 32:17 - 32 and that came to pass. God is so kind He will show even a nobody like me these wonderful things and I do not in any way mean that statement to say I have some kind of special understanding because God through Christ in the Holy Spirit can reveal mysteries even to children I do belive that. At any rate - I have listened to your radio program for many years and I appreciate your ministry a great deal. Thank you for reading my comment - wishing you a very blessed year.

Richardson is a source of bad information on Islam and the End times. See this article > www.equip.org/article/the-origin-of-the-islamic-dajjal-in-false-christian-apocalyptic-literature/ Never reviewed Richardson’s "Mideast Beast: The Scriptural Case for an Islamic Antichrist." But read the points mentioned in the article above are applicable.

I hope you are right but I do want to quote my least favorite Prophet. Jeremiah 28 8 From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms. 9 But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the Lord only if his prediction comes true.”

All due respect, Hank is probably wrong on this one. It's too soon to tell. This video is reactionary. Stop taking Hank's word for it. Be Berean--do your own research. I have, and Rosh as a predecessor to Russia is fully reasonable. Especially given the context of Ezekiel 38, where most of the kingdoms listed are today far northern Turkey and southern Russia. And there's the mention of the "far north"--what would "far north" of northern Turkey be? Russia is a reasonable deduction
@rak2332 Жыл бұрын
Much of the world was not explored when book of Ezekiel was written. Far North , for people of the time of Ezekiel could be Turkey. Russia, nor anything related to Russia existed during the time of Ezekiel.
