I forgot to close the canopy and then couldn't figure out why passing aircraft were creating sonic booms as they went by....you can fly surprising fast without the canopy down, although it does get torn off during takeoff. (face palm here)

I seriously hope people don't write off the F-15 just because it has a simple flight model. It's a hoot. And a PERFECT entry level jet for new people. My wife and buddy just got into DCS and LOVES the F-15. This jet is just so sexy. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnWrZqCDf86sfpI I was surprised just how easy it was to get this done. DCS is amazing.

Go to your mouse settings and change response rate or whatever, it's the rate at which the mouse sends info to the computer, If you lower that then itll be more smooth

It's a nice video but where do I have to go to have the plane shut off to do all these. I tried to make a custom mission but the plane spawns with everything on ready to fly. Pls help I am new with the game

If you place down a plane in the mission editor, by default it starts mid-air with engines already running etc. To chance this, click on the plane in the editor and change "turning point" to "Takeoff from ramp. (it's a drop down menu at the bottom of the window on the left. hope this helped!
