That's what they had. There isnt really a lot of variety to the Japanese Air tree at high tier because there wasnt/inst much variety in real life.

Well Japan had deindustrialized rapidly during the 90s/00s, forcing them to buy more and more American. Thier military industrial complex is pathetic to say the least, though they still contribute to various American MIC ventures.

@@MCP2002 they could atleast make it a little unique, the T2 could've been an armed version of the CCTV test, make it 10.0 as to balance out the fly by wire. The sabre is fine because sabres are ducking amazing. The phantom shouldn't have been added, Japan at that point had a very recent premium, no need to add a newer one

It’s 10.7 in Sim, so you basically never face top tier and the stuff around 10.7 is also less advanced as the F4EJ ADTW, so you always hit your bases. I ground out the entire Japanese tech tree with that thing and it was awesome!

I'd say its the best option u can get as a premium plane above rank 4, for Jp. But there's not much worth to unlock with it!

Not paying $70 to skip the grind I already have in progress (though I haven't even reached jets with Japan yet), but at least this gives me a hint of what's to come with the tech tree F-4EJ. Gotta admit, I'm really looking forward to the EJ Kai one day, not to mention their F-15 variants and the F-2, but getting to it seems like as much of a slog as Italy has been getting to the F-16.

Imagine in like 6 months when they add rank 9 and we get rank 7 premiums 💀 Japan would be f4ej kai reskin But at least it actually is sort of competitive

@@wauweauwau I can already see Gaijin adding the F-104S ASA/M for Italy in the same vein, so I wouldn't be surprised. Apex Predators was the worst premium-to-tree ratio they've released so far, and they made a boatload of money from it, so they'll definitely do it again.

If its reward multiplier stays, I might consider the 1st time it goes on sale, as an attacker. My top JP premium is A6M5 but I'm stuck at the beginning of rank 6 for years now, and even if the T-2 comes back as a GE plane, its even more limited than this, (not like there's much to unlock in the JP tree, but as an SL farmer the F-4 looks good), and on 11.0 I don't think its gonna see too much F-16s, and MiG-21 are not that potent anymore.

I think you, and others, miss something important when it comes to reviewing premiums: Is it a good grinder? I mean, that's kinda the point of buying premiums, right? Recently watched a Defyn video of him crapping all over the Mirage F1C-200 as a "terrible" plane because it isn't good for power gamers or particularly meta....but it's a damn good grinder if yer weird enough to want to grind the French aviation tree like me!

My only issue with it, other than the shitty radar, is the lack of pylon diversity. They force you to use the 4 wing root pylons for Aim-7s and you don't get a choice. You either take the 7s or take nothing on those pylons. So it's like regardless of what loadout you create, you're gonna end up with Aim-7s no matter what. Unless you're a madman and don't take any at all...

Also I believe that Gaijin could cut the price of vehicles in half and still make plenty of money. The only reason they charge SEVENTY70 FRIKKIN dollars for an aircraft is because DCS charges that much, and they want to be "competitive" Even at half the price it's still too much for what you get in the game, but I'd be a whole lot more willing to shell out for more aircraft. I'm sure that more people would be willing to buy something too if they charged 40% instead of 70%. They'd get more sales and make more money overall than by charging what they do and only getting the people who are insane to buy them. (I own the F5C, Sea Vixen, XP-50, SU-11, Mig23ML, F4EJ ADTW, Kfir Canard) Yes I am one of those insane people, but it's my money so mind your own business. I didn't buy them all at the same time either I buy one vehicle a month. The ones that cost GE I got with what you get from purchasing vehicles.

Do you think Japan will be getting the F-2A or the F-15J first when the new Aircraft get released?

F-15 already got kind of denied, F-2 no way. Pretty much the only option is the prototype XF-2A, probably with no radar missiles for balancing purposes.

@@radnova8810 I wonder what plane they will be getting for 4th gen fighters/attackers besides the F4EJ Kai, considering WT is heading towards the more modern aircraft, the JASDF doesn't have really that many fighters besides 3 main 4-5th gen fighters

Don't buy su25 or mirage they aren't good and are hard to grind planes with the f5c is fun but is at a rough br and you need to know how to dogfight with jets before you get it the mig 23 is a good performer but it's avionics are lacking compared to others at the br

Ему и БР не надо снижать, просто убрать возможность попадания на 12.0 и он заживёт. Также, как и итальянец f-104. Кстати, на выбор только аим7 или аим9 у него да? То есть вместе он их не может таскать?

Yes, I average about 50k-110k SL a game. Depending on what boosters you use with it.

@@andreasxoxi220in a good game, you’ll research about 25k-50k RP. I bomb two bases with 17 bombs and try to get a kill afterwards. it’s better than the T-2 early by far if you need a premium aircraft for Japan

Su-25K/Mig-23ML. For the ML, just make sure you know what you are doing at high tier Air RB or you'll get brutalized.
