Maybe this is just me but I've always taken the 'Americans can only turn left' thing to be harmless banter/shit talking. Although I suppose there are more than likely some ultra snobby F1 fans that think like that I suppose! I'm an F1 guy and have been most of my life, I'm also admittedly not a massive fan of American motorsport besides IndyCar when I can watch it but to me oval racing, especially open wheel oval racing like in IndyCar? That takes big balls in my opinion! Going wheel to wheel on an oval at racing speed is not something I would be willing to do! 😂

Don’t think people realize that Jeff was intentionally breaking early because he didn’t have a Hans device so his neck couldn’t sustain the loads for breaking … still pushed the hell outta that car for what it was

He had a history of driving open wheel cars and was never meant to join nascar, it just happened that way, maybe cos there was so much money in nascar at the time. But it's not like it's his first time in an open wheel car.

I think Chevy or Ford needs to go into F1 with an American team. Love to see the best from Indy run full-time in F1 for a few seasons to get them established.

F1 is WAYYY to expensive right now for anyone to come in and be competitive. There are only 3 teams that go balls out with spending. I don't see any new factory teams joining anytime soon, unless the FIA implement a spending cap or something along those lines. Here's hoping.

So much for F1 drivers thinking they are so special. Jeff almost drove the wheels off that thing. That’s the F1 car Montoya drove competitively. I think he got some pole laps in that one.
