F1: Watch Brad Pitt in the Driver's Seat in Official Teaser Trailer

Brad Pitt stars in the 'F1' teaser trailer from Apple Original Films alongside Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies and more. In the film, Pitt plays a former race car driver who returns to Formula 1 to compete with his teammates for the No. 1 spot. 'F1' hits theaters on June 27, 2025.

I ran into Brad at the local Carmel breakfast place the other day - he bought a house in Carmel Highlands recently for 40 million - and he let slip a few details. His character is the Alonzo to Damson Idris’ Hamilton 2008. Yes, Brad’s a former world champion. His relationship with that engineer (Kerry Condon) parallels Maverick’s relationship with Charlie (Kelly McGillis) the Instructor - you can see that at 56 seconds into the trailer. The team APXGP is a new first year American team run by a former successful race car driver, whose father was world champion years ago. *snark*

The car in the movie is a Modified Formula 2 Car, Made to look like a Formula 1 car. Designed By Mercedes F1 Team, and Rodin Carlin. Less Horsepower, No Hybrid, Overall Slower but still fast enough for the movie.
