Roman Lorek...definitely go for the M3. We have both, a 335i M Sport and the F80. The M3 is the real deal. Totally different car.

If you get an upgraded turbo, it will have some lag. If you get the stock turbo, it’ll feel exactly the same.

I've had a stage 1 and stage VF tune since around 24,000miles... never did the e85 tune , has aggressive timing settings that I think stresses the timing gear ... presently have 75,000miles not one check engine light or limp mode etc.... simply flawless performance , car is super fast and reliable

Do you have to upgrade the clutch and fuel system when upgrading turbos?

No you don't on pump gas tunes IMHO. I have Pure S2, Akra DPs, and BM3 custom tune by Cary Jordan on my DCT car. On a stock pump map you should be 570-600+rwhp depending on car, wheel weight, dyno, etc. and that has been fine for me so far with the stock clutch. Fuel system is fine however putting a fuel-it in or similar may allow you to custom tune higher. Mine is stock fuel. On meth/e85/race 109 fuel, you could be 670-700+ and then, yeah, maybe your DCT clutch will have issues. If you have a stick shift, I think that clutch can handle the 670+ range but not sure. Pure turbos, DPs and BM3 are the trinity.

Why would you want a stage 2 Tune with stock turbos? You'd obviously want to upgrade that before tuning the car. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@AlmightyEye Stage 2 Tune works perfectly with stock turbos, Stage 2 is just Downpipe required. Stage 2H I believe is when you’re going to want the upgraded turbo.

The drivers seat belt has a mechanism built in so the DME doesn’t go into sleep mode. If you don’t have the seat belt connected, your flash will fail and your car won’t start 😀

Crank hub issues happened to a bad batch. My 2018 M4 has 30,000 miles and it’s a non comp pack with 520 WHP and no issues. Thank God lmao

Also would recommend a different cold air intake, out of the 4 people i know including myself nobody liked it. more of a hassle and just for looks. check out storm-troopers review on it
