I noted a wee bit of sarcasm when you were presenting an overview of the fully autonomous features of the lovely F/A-18C. ;) I’m sure you think it takes away all the fun. I know you like the early Cold War aircraft without all this fancy automation.

Got the f-18 for the same reason i got a automatic car cant eat a sandwich in a p-47 or in a manual car

You steer the manual car with the knee while you eat. You could probably do the same with the P-47

Hi Cap, I just noticed there is a fall season now (for Caucasus map at least) in the mission editor, the trees are golden yellow when you fly over. I believe this is new, I had not noticed this before. Only summer and winter, has anyone noticed this before?

Bit late but I am going to explain anyhow: On the HUD right of the horizon line is the word AUTO which indicates automatic weapon release mode is on (semi-automatic to be honest as you still need to hold the button) and right below it there's a number and REL. This means seconds to automatic weapon RELease. GR begins holding down the weapon release button 7 seconds before REL goes zero. If he did not, the bomb wouldn't drop.

@@grimreapers Still trying to get my head around it. That ILS course plot shows 074° which the reciprocal is 254° and that should be magnetic. The Runway marking shows runway 24 or 25? Almost as confusing as the DCS winds to/from lol.
