Flew Citations with a furniture company in HNB who used to make pianos. Flying with chief pilot out of MIdway empty. I was not yet typed in airplane and was pilot not flying. Looked back to small amount of environmental smoke coming from vents. Told the chief pilot who was flying. I ask him if he wanted me to run the emergency bleed air check list. Shaking he told me, "I'M a GD Falcon pilot and I don't need you to tell me what to do! He made a 180° turn THEN declared an emergency and dropped below the clouds scud running back to MDW. The emergency then became the pilot in the left seat. I spent much of the flight back looking out for towers. On final he turned off APU. Smoke quit. Taxied in to what seemed like a 100 fire trucks. He told me to go get rid of them. I opened the door to a women yelling like crazy with everyone ready to douse the plane with water and foam in and out. After some discussion I got rid of them. He then told me to look in hell hole. I did, everything looked fine. Back in the airplane, I asked if he wanted to get it checked out. Still buckled he said, no I have already filed. Lets go. I strapped in looking at fuel. We were at min fuel for flight if not below. He did not want to get any because he was embarrassed. I should have quit right there. My fault. We were delayed due to storms and landed HNB with half our minimums. Later, coming in to land I was flying. He ordered me to fly below glide path to make shorter landing. I would not. TO demonstrate this, I came in high. He said I would over shoot. I landed using less than half the runway without brakes because the airspeed bleed off from a flair from steeper approach. It even slowed too fast to use thrust reversers. I thought it was good demo. In the snack room he began throwing things across room and screaming obscenities at me. He fired me two days later. He had a violation when he got hired. Not sure how they can keep that liability as a company!

ALOT ALOT of info to dissect here. Absolutely Shocking. Imo, You need to take action...

@@jondoyle44 It's the tip of the ice-burg with them. For instance, some have taken off in IMC and got clearance airborne. When I ask about it, the answer was, "That's what TCAS is for." We were only allowed to print ILS charts for destination. We used an unapproved tablet for navigation which over heats. The official Jepp charts are kept on a laptop in the aft closet. I sent a letter to management. They told me to go away. The FAA is reactive; not proactive. Chief pilot is charming. He has management eating out of his hand. I can tell you however, when they bend an airplane, I will witness for the prosecution!
