Just took my test today and passed with a 78%. Your videos were super helpful in understanding the material and many of the questions. Thanks so much for the help! The test was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. There were probably 10 questions I hadn't seen in any study materials online. Here is what I could remember from what questions I got: 2 questions on hyperventilation 2 questions on registering/flying a drone in a foreign country A lot of airspace sectional chart questions 2 questions using TAF 1 question about YAW, PITCH or ROLL 2 question on remote ID multiple questions on the steps Crew Resource Management 1 question about what military operations are happening in certain area on sectional chart 1 question on ATC tower shutting down for the night no questions on direction of runway

Your content deserves the hundreds of thousands of views that other creators in the part 107 realm have! Maybe you should consider putting all your videos together into one and then time stamping it all out. The content and quality is there, you just need the algorithm to pick you up. Play with the titles and why not because I had to really look to find your stuff but it’s been the best tool I’ve seen yet. I’m taking my test next Friday. I’ll be sure to come back and throw your donation for all your work. Thank you so much.

Nice video on a confusing topic. One note: if someone is flying in an Echo extension (ie: E4) similar to your example they should not be contacting ATC for any reason. If it was an E2 SFC E then approvals should be done thru LAANC or Dronezone. ATC should never be directly contacted for approvals per the FAA memo. Only exception would be if explicitly instructed to do so under a COA, WAA or SGI.

Thanks for the video. At 08:44, you point out the dashed squared magenta is where Echo airspace begins at the surface and is a controlled airspace (Echo 4), yet right after that you say that dashed magenta space technically doesn't require ATC approval. Please clarify. I'm confused as to what you're saying. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Hi Mr.Mig My name is Kana and I’m enjoying your video so much! I’ve never ever post any comment at anywhere but I would do this time. I’m living in Florida and I’m working at medical field now. But I really like drone so I decided to take the exam for part 107. Now I’m stack on this question for little while and I can’t still get over it. Can you help me please? It’s a Question about the floor of class E airspace around Georgetown Airpot (i can’t sent the photo for some reason) A)3,823ft MSL B)At the surface C)700ft AGL I thought E class floor is 700AGL but the correct answer was A. Why is that?
@MrMigsClassroom Жыл бұрын
Something seems odd about that. Can you post it in the Facebook group chat? I have a Facebook group. Part 107 drone study material. Its has 2.6k followers just to help you know which one it is. Post it in there. This way I can see the map. Others will comment too. There are a lot of great people in that group.
@manatee1966 Жыл бұрын
Merry Christmas to Mr. Mig! I have been too busy to pursue my questions and post to your Facebook group but actually I accidentally found the answer a couple days ago. It is the answer below.. Q: In figure below, Area 1. The floor of Class E airspace above Georgetown Airport (E36) is at: a. At the Surface b. 700 feet AGL c. 3,823 feet MSL So the correct answer according to the test guide is C: 3,823 feet MSL. Georgetown airport is in Class G airspace. Since there is no magenta shaded line, Class E airspace begins at 1200 AGL. So the airport elevation is 2,623 ft. MSL. Therefore, 2623 MSL + 1200 = 3823 MSL to the floor of Class E airspace above the airport. That’s the all explanation for my question!! Thank you so much for your posts!

Thank you for all the videos you've been posting, it's been so helpful for my exam study. I was wondering if you could help explain this question " An ATC radar facility issues the following advisory to a pilot during a local flight: "TRAFFIC 2 O'CLOCK, 5 MILES, NORTHBOUND..." Where should the pilot look for this traffic?" - Answer "Between directly ahead and 90° to the right". I tried looking up explanations for this and can't seem to get it right. Thank you!

@KYwx2 ай бұрын
Basically it's from ground AGL to 700 AGL. On the sectional charts there is no markings - no dashes, circles, faded lines or wedding cakes. You don't need permission to fly there. It like you are flying in the sticks. That is my understand of it. Its the only place where you can fly without permission. You still can't go above 400 ft with a drone.
@videosinfrench99283 ай бұрын
You didn't cover a class E airspace with a faded blue circular line which I think indicates a floor of1200'?
