@@poyo3582 not what i was told.some do some dont...the other issue is the needle valve lifters.some say its a oil vicosity issue others say its a metallurgical/ mnfctr issue.wearing down cams and causing misfire codes."suposedly" dealt with by Dodge in 2015.dont get me wrong,i love the Ram we bought,2015.bought it strictly on my love of Dakotas,great trucks.i beat the hell out of 3 and zero tranny and engine issues.bought a Ram cuz we needed a larger beefier tow vehicle...i should have done better research...so far so good though.great paint,low miles,in state whole 21,000 miles,great mntnce record...what wasnt to like?

Fyi we thought on my buddy's ram with same noise was a leaking manifold/exhaust turns out it was a valve seat coming out apart and eventually ruin the motor it's common look it up also the lifters and cam loob also come apart/wear off get it check before it leaves you stranded

miasmaro98 Thanks for the info! Yeah I know all about it I am a mechanic and have seen it a few times. I checked it before I bought it and the right side manifold gasket is blown out in a small spot. Gonna remove it soon and fix it.

It should have come with windshield adhesive. If not you want the 3M Urethane sealant that’s used for windshields. It has done great on my truck and it’s been on for over 4 years.

Replace that crack with short tube headers. Did it on my f150 and it sounds amazing plus it was little more peppy. Pretty sure i gained the acceleration i lost with my bigger tires and lift feels like it anyhow. Plus got another 1.5mpg

Haven’t noticed any gains in MPG to speak of. It’s more for looks and keeps water off the third brake light.

So I’m looking to get one of these for my 3rd gen Ram. Basically what I’m thinking of doing is customizing it to fit. The 3rd gens have Basicaly the same size 3rd brake light and width. Only difference is the 3rd gens have more of an arch. So I would need to curve it to fit the truck. My question is was this spoiler really sturdy or is there some flexibility to it. do you think I could heat and form it to fit my cab.

Jamie Rosenthal Thanks! Yes it can be paint to match. People in the Amazon reviews painted theirs. I think it looks good Black because of all the black on the truck. It is completely smooth with no texture to it. I plan on putting a coating on it to protect it.

As long as you use the urethane adhesive that comes with it. Once it cures it’s not coming off without a lot of effort.

honest D Thanks! With everything in the camper for camping it was right at 6,000 lbs. It does good but it really could use more power. It’s all In the hitch system you buy. I use a Trunnion hutch so the truck stays level. They are expensive but worth every penny if you tow a camper.

Just installed on my RAM after watching the video looks great. Any thoughts on a video on placing the in cab filter for the RAM. Was surprised to find out many model years required you to modify the location to place the filter, not a standard option. What are the benefits of installing it? Thanks.

ffstahly I haven’t even thought about that to be honest. It’s a big advantage as it filters the air you breathe coming through your vents. Especially if you or anyone riding with you has allergies. A lot of manufacturers make it an option for some reason.

Oh man I love it! People ask me about it all the time. The adhesive that comes with it is what holds windshields in place. Once it cures it’s not going anywhere.

Now I have to clean her all over again :) (that's what your vid's are for)! Anyway, maybe they will come out with a newer version for the 2019's and the new body styles! One question for ya. dj 91 Tire shines can be tricky depending on the environment they are in. Your best best is CarPro Perl diluted 1:1. I can usually get 2-3 weeks out of it.

I love the not to shiny shine but durability is not good and this trip absolutely killed my tires. Dirt, dust, freezing rain and yes snow. We were between 8,500 feet and up to 12,000 feet.

Good luck with the MRI. I'm terrified of tight spaces and they wanted to do an MRI for lower back issues and I told them I can't do it, so they said they would knock me out. When it was time first they gave me a sedative, then the anesthesiaologist came in and checked my heart rate. Long story short they couldn't do it because my heart rate went up to 160 even after another sedative. Now they believe me when I tell them I am terrified of confined spaces.
